none-the-less I hope he's right, assuming Merriman is out for the year...or longer.

What's the best burrito in San Diego? For Carne Asada I'm a bit partial the the Robertos in Solana Beach by the Surfride shop. For black bean I'm partial to Don Carlos in La Jolla.

    Peace!

I don't know about "best burrito", but the hands down best taco in SD Co. can be had @ Lucha Libre Taco Shop on Washington, north off the 5, near the airport.

Order their "QUESO TACO" and prepare to bust a nut.

My favorite was any thing from Roberto's at 5AM on the way home from an all-nighter in TJ. :icon_party:

Order of Rolled Tacos and a Chicken Burrito with guacamole and sour cream.

I usually go to Super Sergios on Sweetwater Rd. But for the best tasting carne asada, I'd go with Mi Tierra's on Highland Ave. in National City.

What could go wrong with pulling an all-nighter in TJ?

    :icon_rofl:

Seriously, Roberto's on Ingraham between Grand and Garnet has the best carnie asada burritos.

When I flew in 2 years ago for the Raiders game, Thumper introduced me to some little shop right by his house but I cant remember what the name of it was. Thumper, what was the name of that place I kept getting Carne from right down from your house?

And the multi-wars have begun... Wonder if this will be anything like the clone wars.

By the way Mountain Dew is ****ing gross. I'm not a huge fan of Dr. Pepper, but it is easily the lesser of two evils.

How did this thread get so off-topic?

I thought we were talking about burritos.

Thanks for giving my man props, but the two are as different as night and day. I hope Jyles lives up to the expectations. There's no doubt he can play, but inexperience will catch him at some point.

I don't know why that necessarily has to be the case. Merriman started and played almost his entire rookie season, and I don't think his inexperience really hurt us. Tucker has had an entire season to learn the defense and got some valuable game-action at the end of last year.

I think Tucker will lack a little bit in terms of experience and that might prevent Ted from being able to utilize him for all the things Merriman could do, but I don't know that it will necessarily hurt him.

Maybe he will hit a physical wall late in the year. I could see that happening.
