sorry, but being a father means the world to me. And as long as "Cro" supports his kids financially does it matter how many he has?

No but it does open him up to jokes. Such as 'he is a true father of a nation...' ba dum dum.

Being a father is great, but by no means does it negate him for jests, mocking or critiquing... IMO..

I believe that this thread is in light hearted fun.

I realize it was a joke, but it would have been funny if it wasn't his first child. :icon_shrug:

I realize it was a joke. It just wasn't that funny.

The premise of the punchline rests on the fact that Cromartie has a lot of kids with different women. Cason is having his first child with (obviously) one woman.

I get that it's a joke, but I don't get the humor behind it.

Because he is "in the making" as in begining to start. You need to start with one child in order to have two. Two children in order to have three.

Does that explain it enough, or should I slow it down for you?

No, I get the concept behind the punchline I just don't get why it's supposed to be funny.

By that reasoning, every father on the face of this planet is the "next Cromartie" and are worthy of this type of joke.

I realize I'm over-analyzing a joke here, but at the same time I'm being asked why I think it's not funny and there's your reason.

Yes. Money is only part of it. He needs to be a father and actively in their lives to get credit. Since he couldn't even remember all their names, Something tells me he is not too active in all their lives

If you live in New York and your kids live in California, how are you going to be a afther figure? By calling them on the phone every day?

I know that, but why should we make fun of someone wanting to start a family.

Cason has one kid and immediately he has 9 more in the oven. I hope Cason and his wife enjoy their baby, and the 2 AM feedings, and the smelly diapers, and the loaded burps.

I get what you are saying but I cant easily apply it to Cromarty who has 3 of 4 kids who are 3. Now Cason... No worries, I think the thread starter was just trying to get a chuckle... Not sure just think.

Guys, lighten up geez, it was just a joke. Cromortie has like 50 kids, we dump him and replace him with Cason and now he's got a kid on the way. You can tell me that's not a little but funny.

    I can, and I did. :icon_shrug:

But, just for the record, I'm not saying it's not funny in a sense that I think it's somehow offensive (because it's not) it's just....not funny.
