Jeez, who aren't the Dolphins going to talk to? I think that is the 11th person they have interviewed.

That fuggin Huizenga is going to eat up Brian's precious time when he should be doing double duty for us. One more reason to hate that POS team.

Pete knows he can get the same $30-40 mill that Saban got out of some dopey college after pillaging Huizenga's wallet for two years. Why not?

The Dolfish have a serious lack of talent on offense, and their defense is aging. They have real problems with knowledgeable football people in their front office. Any coach that takes that job needs to clean house on GM, scouts, etc. That will take time to rebuild.

Look at the teams that improved from last place finishes to make the playoffs. Chargers in '04, Jets and Saints this year. What do they all have in common? Fairly stable front office and scouting staffs. The Jets did switch GM's, but they promoted in house, and the scouting staff stayed pretty much intact.

Miami doesn't have that luxury. Their front office was hand picked by Saban (Randy Mueller as the resident Saban shrill at GM). They haven't been hitting on draft picks or FA evaluations.

    On a side note ......

Remember before the draft, and during free agency, the KFFL hotwire had about every other blurb saying, "Dolphins talk to player ..."

They do the shotgun approach on everything. Lotta good it's done them.

Pete's not going anywhere, he's got too much of a good thing going @ SC. IMO he belongs there, and his demeanor is perfectly suited for the college atmosphere. He'd be an idiot to leave a perennial national title contender to a ****** Dolphins team full of problems, the biggest being a defense that is getting old real quick.

Carroll already said that even though that meeting went well, he's staying at USC.

Although, we all know how true a statement like "there's no way I'm leaving <insert franchise here>" has been recently.

word. Pete is too smart to take that Fins job. There isn't alot of young talent on that team. SC is the place for him.

Carroll is a college coach and always will be. I think any team that signs him will regret it after a couple years after he pulls a saban after realizing how much better he liked college

I think he'll leave a few years down the road, but not now. Pete would've been stupid not to at least meet with Huizenga, if only to use it as leverage to get more money out of USC.

Did you see the "kissing bandit" photo of the hawt 'Bama chick with Saban at the airport?

And here she is three hours later, still wearing her team jersey, smiling for her mugshot after being arrested for DUI:

It's amazing that she didn't get down on her knees and go "Monica" on him.
