If we franchise tag him the Fins would owe us 2 first round picks if they're determined to get him. Still....even for 2 first rounders I'd rather have Vjack, we're trying to win a Super Bowl right now.

And if your wondering, it would cost us around 9.5mil to tag VJack and keep him for the whole 2010 season.

Don't they have to give us 1st rounders either way?

It really depends on what RFA tender we give him.

    Second-round tender: $1,684,000
    First-round tender: $2,396,000
First & third round tender: $3,043,000

Franchise Tag: Will be around 9.5mil, and compensation will be two first round picks as usuall.

I don't think there is any way the Chargers risk that much money when they can tender him a RFA contract for about $3.2 mil, while still having the ability to match any deal he is offered

I would be willing to trade Floyd to them for a 2nd though

That's not happening, but we could possibly get a 2nd, which I would jump all over
