Here's a trivia question or two.

Has there ever been a year where a city with multiple sports teams in different sports have champions in each sport.

I.E. New York Yankees winning World Series in the same season that New York Giants win Super Bowl and/or New York Knicks win NBA Championship?

Has there ever been a year where one city owns all 3 major sports championships?

How about if you throw in the NHL as a fourth Pro team sport?

If the answer is yes to any of the above, come up with all the times this has occurred.

The Patriots won the Super Bowl the same year the Red Sox won the World Series. (2004)

    Nice.

How about a city with all 3 or even 4 Pro team championships?

    :icon_huh: :icon_shrug:

My guess is that New York is the most likely to fit that bill.

You are correct. The Golden State Warriors won the NBA Championship for the 1974-1975 season after the Oakland A's won the 1974 World Series, defeating the LA Dodgers 4 games to 1. However, the Raiders lost in the AFC Championship (to the Steelers) for the 1974 season.
