Whatever will I do with my Donnie Edwards jersey?

Between him, Derrick Johnson and Napoleon Harris, that's a LB corps that can't tackle upfield to save their lives

Im dissapointed we let Donnie go though, he was probably the best cover linebacker in the NFL.

Well, if you can't play for Marty... might as well play for his clone.

I will too. I understand that most of the venom is spit at him because he did not get along with management (AKA: AJ). But that was only because of his loyalty to Marty. I never felt like he gave less than 100% on the field. And he wasn't a distraction off the field.

I wish him nothing but the best in 14 of his games next season.

This is sweetness... they are saying Donnie is going to start on the weakside which means McNeill and Dielman are going to pancake his *** :abq2:

Wan't he making close to 5 mil per year here? So basically, he pissed off AJ enough that he got ran out of his hometown to sign for less than he though he was worth.

 Donnie's gonna get thrashed by our line, watch us run right at him all day.

Good for him. Maybe now he can go an entire offseason without whining about how underpaid and underrated he is. In the meantime, the Chiefs can begin tailoring their defense towards covering up Donnie's total inability to fill the gap, like ours did.

"But even though I played football and was so infatuated with the Chargers, I never envisioned myself one day playing for them. I didn’t think I was big enough, strong enough, or good enough."

    That's because you're not, Donnie. Bye! :icon_rofl:

Props to Donnie Edwards for getting a fair and balanced contract from another NFL team. No way would he have gotten a commensurate offer from AJ, even if they were on good terms with each other.

Good luck Donnie. I am a better fan for having had the opportunity to watch you play for my favorite team.

And LT is licking his chops!

After every tackle, you can add 3 yards per carry!

Will you be clapping for Donnie when/if she makes a tackle against the Chargers and will you be sad if McNeill hits Donna so hard her uterus ruptures?

    Well ? :icon_huh: :icon_shrug:

Well the chargers now know where to attack the chefs next year. Donnies a solid grab and get drug 4 yard tackler. And he's slow with pass coverage. Every team thats faced the chargers in the last couple of years has attacked his area. Its why he had so many grab and hang on tackle stats. Donnie is good at hanging on. But thats about it.

    Me three.

Actually, he's been dead to me since about the time he was crying about his contract to the Pendelton Marines.
