Do you disclose to everyone your medical conditions? If you got tested positive for HIV would you tell everyone. Why if the full medical knowledge something YOU need or deserve? Drew stated the team knew everything, which they did.

Drew Brees' right arm is his commodity. It was damaged in an injury. He has the responsibility to disclose it's condition. The fact is that he lied about it, which I could forgive. What I cannot forgive is the lies he told about AJ and the contract situation. It shows no class to accuse someone wrongly of something that you are doing yourself.

Every team he dealt with had FULL DISCLOSURE. Up to and including the Saints. You did not, because it is none of your business.

If that hurts your colon that is your problem.

    Vikings lost to the LIONS!:icon_eek:

Yep, this is where I began to dislike him. Drew's lies to the media made our Front Office look like the bad guys, when in fact they were just making a smart decision based on the medical reports.

Instead of going out peacefully, he wanted to bring the whole organization down, and that is not cool at all.

The Chargers did get full disclosure, just not from Drew because he lied to them.

Just an fyi, the colon does not have nerves so it really can't hurt.

The fat drunk from Oakland kicked a figgie, but someone called a time out right before the snap. Shanahan just fuqued Oakland.

Instead of saying "Ummm.... No" in that interview, thus BLATANTLY LYING, he could have simply said "that's something I'd rather not discuss right now. You could ask AJ Smith and see if he'll tell you everything. I'd rather focus on my physical therapy and getting ready for the 2006 season."

There would have been no lying in that statement.

How many times. So you are acting like he gave one interview. He was on Scott & BR nearly every other day during this process and he did say that.

Go ahead and have butt hurt over this, but is it really stupid to expect any professional athlete to discuss their health with the fans. Teams get all information, fans don't need it.

Frankly I think this is just an excuse you and other fans use in this regard. Obviously you are hurt by Brees and cannot identify why so you start to put unrealistic issues as the key to salve your hurts.

I was one of his biggest supporters during the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

However, after his blatant lying and how he and his agent tried to shift ALL THE BLAME to the Chargers and bear none of the responsibility, he lost me.

He even said he'd take less money to be with a Super Bowl contender.

Did he take less money to stay with the Chargers or did he sign a megabucks deal with the Saints?

Before the 2006 season, which team was closer to being a Super Bowl contender, the Chargers or the Saints?

So, that's lie number two. Saying he'd take less money to be with a contender, when instead, he was really looking for the fattest contract he could find.

Would you have stayed with the Chargers with absolutely no guarantee that you would be allowed to play, or indication it would be more than one year? I would not. AJ and the Chargers made it clear that he was not really wanted. If you would have done differently, that is fine, I would not.

    That's cause you're greedy

Dielman took the lesser deal to stay with the Bolts. That's because he's loyal and has class.

Dielman >>>> Brees in terms of honesty and truthfulness.

He shopped elsewhere, but ended up returning home and said he preferred less money to be with an elite team, his friends, and the good Southern California weather.

When push came to shove, Dielman walked the talk.

Dielman took a deal that was laden with guaranteed monies. That was not offered to Drew. You can try and confuse the issue but it just shows how little you got.

Dielman's offer was much more money and more years and more incentives then Brees's was

Brees was basically given a one year deal
