Wonder if River-Boat Ron will have the game plan needed to slow the 9'ers down.

First run by gore, loss on the play!

Late hit from the Carolina secondary. Good call.

Stupid call on Panthers #21. That was a bam bam play, not roughness!!!!

I wish that they would let that go, but they just don't anymore. If you hit the receiver after the ball bounces off the turf 3 yards away from the receiver, you are going to get a penalty.

Wouldn't be bad if the refs were consistent on the call. They are not, one team will not call it and another will. I have seen games this season where it is not consistent.

    Mike Pereira ‏@MikePereira1m
Late hit on Davis was good call folks. He let up & ball is on the ground. It makes no difference pass was tipped -- close, but a foul.

One thing that's clear so far this weekend is that teams are losing games with dumb mistakes more than they are being won. That penalty handed the Niners three points.

It was a bang bang play, like you said, but the rules say it was a penalty. #21 could have held up but wanted to "make a statement." Cost his team 3 points.

They need to ease up on calling these clean hits penalties just because they looked brutal.

There's no way for a defender to know the ball won't deflect directly to the receiver at that speed.

#21 had a good view on the ball. He knew Davis wasn't going to catch it. He just wanted to blast Davis.

Panthers are playing out of control. D Flo could have had two personal foul penalties already. That brings back memories.

Why do people read so much into players' facial expressions on the sideline.
