Early report is that he's expected to miss next week's game with a high ankle sprain.....That would be huge! The guy isn't an unbelievable playmaker...but he has been making very few mistakes also. Even if he plays, the fact that he's hobbled will probably have an effect on him.

Separately, has anyone heard and details on LT's latest injury? Was it his ankle again?

Yeah, but LT was in there for a few plays on our final possession, I think.

    So, it's nothing major.

I wouldn't mind playing Chris Simms. He did have -8 yards of passing in the 2nd half against the Skins.

    Lame.

They didn't count his completion to a Redskins defender!

    :icon_rofl:

Were it not for two defensive brain farts by the Redskins secondary, Denver's O scores just a FG again and Orton's numbers are also the suck.

I don't buy it. He didn't look too hurt walking on the sidelines.

Well, if he wasn't too hurt, we would have been back in the game. Simms was Jamarcus Russell-like. No way Orton doesn't go back in there unless he's banged up pretty good.

Could easily be a high ankle sprain or a hairline fracture, which for a QB isn't as serious but could mean 2 or 3 weeks.

Simms hasnt played full speed real football in what like at least a full season right or has it been 2?

I would expect him to improve if he starts next week but not be any better than Orton. Either way, we owe them the same courtesy they showed us a few weeks back :icon_twisted:

If we have ever pounded a team into physical submission this is the team I want to see it happen to.
