I need some work done. I ripped out the ceiling of my bathroom today, and I don't even want to mess with the light fixture. 80 year old wiring mixed in with newer stuff that I could figure out, but I don't want my house to turn into the Monte Carlo and have my insurance company laugh at my claim.

I only need two lights put in about three feet apart, super easy access (no fuggin ceiling), so if you know an honest electrician that is a good guy, please let me know.

I need an licensed guy, not your neighbor. I want the **** to code.

    Thanks!!

I have a cousin who is a landscape contractor. I know he does some electrical ****, but not sure if he does it or has it outsourced. Probably pricey. Lives in Point Loma.

I could get his number for you though. He'd at least know someone.

I hate electricity. I used to have a buddy in Monterey that helped fix all the crap on that 50-60 year old house. It had some scary wiring.

I had an almost 100 year old house in Utah, and the wiring in it was a lot better than the younger house in Monterey. Still, I don't like doing electrical stuff without someone around who REALLY knows their **** on it.

EC doesn't need me advising him. I tried my hand at some electrical work a while back and didn't actually electrocute myself but did send a good jolt through me that went directly to my groin area. Kind of painful...

That doesn't sound quite right.... :icon_rofl:

    Not in this thread.

Drink some beer and get fully baked before giving EC free advice. Otherwise, bill him.

I love you guys, but I went ahead and hired an electrician. He usually charges $65/hour, but because I fish, he is only going to get me for $50.

    Gotta love fisherman.

Shammy, the guys son uses this avatar at the site I "found" him on (best non chargers forum on the internet, bloodydecks.com). I thought you would like it.
