Directed at both Elisha, Jared, and the thread starter.

Eli looks good against bad teams and bad against good teams. Sort of like Rex the Hex.

I don't like to see anyone injured, and Eli is no exception. I hope he heals quickly, for the Giants sake.

Against a crummy defense anyone will look HOF caliber.

How did he do against good defenses? Sucked ***.

he looked great against Phillips defense - why? Because he got into quite a few third and long situations and threw it when Phillips went into his standard prevent defense. Ha ha

And burning the Cowboys secondary, with Brian Stewart as their DB coach and without Newman, I'm not impressed.

    Precisely.

Wade Phillips, that supposed defensive 3-4 genius, got lit up for 35 points.

    THIS JUST IN

TOM COUGHLIN BENCHES LT DAVE DIEHL BECAUSE OF HIS NEW QB

Coughlin was reported as saying "Well he's big enough to be a left tackle so why do we need him anyway? And its not like our line is good enough anyway, look what happened to Eli."

Lorenzen smiled upon hearing this and said "I knew when I became the starting QB I'd have to do it on my own. I guess this is just the next step. I'll go through defensive ends like I go through cheesesteaks"

Beating out Mr. Elizabeth Hasselbeck and Anthony Wright, both undrafted free agents, is not exactly noteworthy.

They obviously didn't see how bad the Dallas pass defense is.
