Ok I have been running around here like a chicken with my head cut off. Posting from one thread to another with my opinion.

With that said we can all agree that there are many problems with this team, and there are many people to blame. We can all also agree that the coaches, the players, the front office, and the fans know it as well.

Instead of running from thread to thread *****ing about who is to blame (me including) lets lose those emotions here, and try and put something positive together about this team, and where we go from here forward.

I want to see everyone in this thread talking about the positives that can be made out of what has happened so that collectively we as fans can do our part if helping this team win.

No idea is a bad idea.....Let's hear em!

I just think we need to get LT going, we can't run the ball if we're down 21-0 at halftime.

I agree, we need to get the run game going for sure, getting LT only 7 carries isn't helping any situation.

Next year I want to see us get take a shot if they are there at Terrance Cody, or Suh from Nebraska.

To be determined. If we win the Super Bowl, I'll freakin' take everything back that I said about Norv. But we HAVE to win the Super Bowl. He was handed a 14-2 team, this is his third season, no excuses!

Well it is still early Oct. I will take a tea bagging by the Steelers in October if that means we can get some cold cut revenge in January, because we owe those phuckers some pay back and then some.

Its understandable that Chargerland is marching to Mission Valley in lynch mob type fashion demanding Norv's head on a pike and wanting to set the Q on fire because we have all bought in to the media's propaganda about how talented this team is. The past three years we have heard every off season that the Chargers are the most talented team in the NFL this year could be the year for the Chargers blah blah blah blah. Talk is cheap, and coming off an 8-8 season where the Broncos had to trip on their Johnson's in epic fashion just for us to get in the playoffs-I think that right there should have told us that perhaps we shouldn't expect the team to meet our lofty expectations coming into this year.

I hope this team makes me eat crow because to this point we should feel lucky to be 2-2, put Jamarcus on the Xmas card list this year because he gift wrapped us a freaking week 1 win.

Prove me wrong San Iego...prove me wrong.

The good news is we know what we have to fix. Not in order of priority.

    1. The running game
    2. Pass rushing
    3. Defense against the run
    4. Winning at the line of scrimmage
    5. Tackling techniques
    6. Zone coverage techniques
    7. Clock management. (five yard penalties for delay of game!)
    8. How to score in the Red zone.

Now that we know what to fix, it should be easy!

    Go Bolts!:

In nine more days we will be 3-2 and the Donkies 4-2 thanks to Philip's owning them. A week later after we pound KC into the sand we wll be 4-2 and shared for the AFC lead while Denver contemplates over their bye how they went from the best defense in the league to one that gave up more than 30 points in each of the last two games. At that point we will all have a different perspective.

We need to stay realistic in this thread and look for small positives. There is simply no such thing as "picking up a nose tackle".

    +1 for starting this thread

The comments from Norv have been consistent, Tony Dungy like, very calm and poised. After a win or a loss it's "we need to get better". You could put together a gatorade commercial of all the statements talking about the path the team is on. It's not what all fans prefer to hear, but it's better than a yelling rant so far.

We have a top 3 pocket QB in the league. Rivers is making throws that only Manning and Brady can make, and Rivers has a quicker release than both. There is no remorse watching Brees do his thing.

Everything seems to be fixable. Win the battles upfront and this will appear to be a different team.

It's still early in the season. Early in 2007 we were blown out by the Patriots by 40 or so. The last game of that year was against the same time in January, and it was no blowout.

I agree these problems are fixable.

This team just needs some heart. I think come this off season though, it's time for AJ to break out of the lack of off season activity and start doing something.

I would like to see Ellison get a shot what do you guys think?

A young Physical, big safety to smash a couple of guys may just give this team the attitude adjustment they need.

If we win all of our next games, and Denver losses the two against us we win the division. Denver has played some of their easiest opponents early on. We played some of our hardest.

Denver just put in a 3-4. Teams are starting to get footage on their D. Will it remain the same, I don't see it. History shows me that Denver's D tends to soften near the end. They have some older players and injury reports are coming from Denver slowly. Dawkins is missing time. He will only miss more as the season goes on.

Chargers start slow and end at a very high level. It is impossible for a team to start fast and end at the same high level. I rather have consistency, but its the rare team that can do that.

Everything can be fixed. Firing Norv would be dumb, especially since Norv has one of the best records at the end of the season with the Chargers. Firing him when his team is getting good would just tank the team.

Fire Norv if we don't go deep in the playoffs. Then you have time. While your at it fire AJ Smith he is more responsible for the Chargers than Norv is.

I personally think we will bounce back. Teams have ups and downs. Take a look at the Titans. Dolphins.

I have a feeling none of the 4-0 teams will win the SB this year.
