Hacksaw said that L.T. knee is bothering and will have to get another surgery sometime this month. That was the reasoning behind the drafting of the RB and FB. Hacksaw said L.T. could possibly miss the begning of the season.

While I will be worried about LT and his knee until I see him carry the ball in the game without hesitation, I am not going to be MORE worried because of what hacksaw is reporting.

Yeah, that certainly seems more plausible than AJ grabbing a RB and FB to help replace the two the team lost.

3? Are you going to count camp fodder? With pinnock's injury we were going to need at least one more FB/RB to get through camp.

Fuk it, let's just cut LT instead.

I mean, we can't have him on the bench injured all year, can we?

I mean, it's only a KNEE. Not some horrendous potential career ending injury like a little pinky toe.

Typical Hacksaw. ANOTHER surgery? As far as I know, they haven't done anything to LT's knee but rest and rehab. He has a sprain and unless there are collateral dislocations, surgery is seldom indicated. I used to enjoy Hacksaw's antics, but being more wrong than Rumsfeld got old. I can't go to the minis this week, but I bet the real poop will emerge within the month, and it won't be coming out of Hacksaw's nether reaches.

During the draft it was reported that LT was fine and didn't need anything but rest. He had a grade 2 MCL sprain that did not require surgery. The Chargers medical staff would be idiotic to overlook this sort of thing and any surgery needed would have been addressed. Antonio Gates is a perfect example. They wanted to see if his toe would heal, and since they did not like the progress he made, they chose to do the surgery with enough time to spare to be back in time for the start of the season.

Hey-it was his BIG toe. Big toes are as wussy and little toes-or camel toes for that matter.

    Hmm... who to believe.

Hacksaw, or those two reporters, one from NFL Network and the other from ESPN, who said that LT will be fully ready by training camp, and is already at least 90% for this weekend's minicamp ?
