Some interesting notes on the 'experts' picks:

    - 4 out of 16 guys pick the Bolts to win the AFC and the Super Bowl.
    - All 16 guys pick the AFC to win the Super Bowl.
    - Only 3 different teams are picked to win it all, the Bolts, the Pats and the Steelers.

What?!? Where's the love for Jay Cutler! :icon_shrug:

He's a misunderstood, honest and forthright, speak-your-mind kind of guy, who's a role model, you know!

Oh, and here Jay is NOW!!! >>> :bananafinger:

 This is my favorite courtesy of Tim Graham...

All three of their AFC West foes are rebuilding. The only way the Chargers won't win the most chaotic division will be if Philip Rivers demands a trade and Norv Turner punches Ron Rivera.

Pretty sure Sando meant Chiefs when he put Chargers... right? :icon_huh:

One team in the division has an established front-line quarterback. It's not the Broncos, Chargers or Raiders.

I was all geared up to bash Sando...Then I figured it had to be a typo, so I kooled my jets.

I don't agree that Norv Turner is one of the Charger's weaknesses. We have progressed into the playoffs and it wasn't Norv's fault that we lost against the Steelers and Patriots.

If you peel back the ESPN logo, where ever it may be located (website, paper, building, etc), there are hidden images behind it. I was watching one of the "Magics Best Secrets Revealed" shows and figured out the ESPN code and I broke it....

here is what I found... Feel free to add yours if you too have the code...

I don't see Pittsburgh winning it again. Every year they always pick the previous SB winner to repeat, saying how good they are. Pittsburgh really wasn't the best team last year. They barely beat Arizona.

I just don't see it, and I don't see the Pats doing it either with thier defense.

How about the ESPN guys predicting AARON RODGERS for MVP??? Are you kidding???

Look at Rivers stats from last year, and he wasn't even mentioned for MVP, and passed on the Pro Bowl as well, just because of the 8-8 record. The best Chargers QB season statistically all around!!!

Not one of them said perhaps Rivers could win it in 2009. They probably would be all over his junk if the Bolts go 12-4 and he puts up the same EXACT numbers.

Personally I think he will have good numbers, but probably not as much yards, since the defense will be better, and keep the score lower, and the Bolts will run more in the 4th quarter. Philip won't have to do as much this year IMO.

The Bolts will have the division wrapped up after week 1.

Actually, 3 out of the 16 of them picked Phil to win MVP. Banks, Pastabelly and Wickersham.

Predictions are stupid, these guys are no more experts than we are. They just get paid to do it on TV.

While I agree - Philip deserves more respect - picking Aaron Rodgers is definitely not a stretch, he's one hell of a QB

    Good Job Golic. !!!
