That's absolutely classic. These guys have nothing to write about because SD is so far and above every other team in the league right now. So they resort to crappy little shock pieces.

A guy touches the ball less than 10 times per game is the MVP? Yeah right.

Yes, that writer guy is a moron.

No rookie has ever won the MVP award. They are given OROY or DROY instead if they do very well.

I hope you are saying this to prove a point, Conc. ;)

Hester won't be the MVP, but he'll be in the Pro Bowl. I don't know if he'll be the DROY even though he's a CB, because his great performances have all been on ST kicks.

He ain't gettin' DROY... he's horrible as a cover guy. But you're right, he'll be in the Pro Bowl for sure as a special teamer.

    He's definitely the Bears' MVP.

That's worse than Peter King voting for Carnell Lake over Brett Favre.

In 1978 Earl Campbell was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press as well as the Most Valuable Player as a rookie.

He was named MVP by some arcane organization. The AP named Terry Bradshaw MVP that year.
