and now it hits closer to home

Here in the Great Lakes state of Michigan, I read about a drowning every week. Sometimes more than one.

Now, I have to live the pain of knowing someone that has taken the water for granted and lost their life.

    My message is short,

    Please, Please, Please

teach your children (and those that don't know) how to take care of themselves in the water.

respect it. don't go alone, don't be stupid, and good GOD almighty, PLEASE LEARN TO SWIM!!!!

    that is all.

    carry on

It sounds as if this was someone close.

My thoughts and prayers go out for you and everyone who was touched by this person.

    Thanks 8er,

I knew her, But she was close to my son.

damn tragic, these things. These people I hear about are just to young to be living that kind of pain.

Dealing with death is one of lifes most horrible feelings. And everyone has to learn how to deal with it in thier own way. It is really hard for kids, My oldest son lost his Grandpa on Thanksgiving day 10 Years ago. It is hard, but with the right help, they do and will get through it. Be there and be strong.
