I've always liked Farve...but hes been the abolute idiot lately.

Whether it's been him saying hes comming back or retiring, it's been a real wear on his accomplishments and the amazing things he's done in the NFL.

That block was for BSPN, it was too make him look like hes a young gunslinger thats still got it and could do anything. If that block had worked, they would be jacking him off all season....i'm sorry to say....he's lost it, both upstairs and his abilities, but honestly hes better than what the Vikings have.

Oh btw, his Wranger commercials make me sick....I'd rather wear bellbottom Toughskins with the extra pads on the knees

Favre is making $16,000,000 this year.

This is like someone on a 20K/year salary being fined $12.50

So, two years on other teams in his twilight years erases all his years in Green Bay taking ownership of half the record books and helping bring a 3rd Lombardi to Green Bay?

Did Johnny Unitas ruin his legacy when he came to play for the Chargers?

Did Joe Namath ruin his legacy playing his final years with the Rams?

Did Emmit Smith ruin his legacy playing in Arizona for two years?

Did Hank Aaron ruin his legacy by playing with the Brewers?

Did Babe Ruth ruin his legacy playing with the Braves his last year?

I can keep going. This **** happens all the time with hall of famers who don't want to give up the game.

    most people into douchebags.

It's in large part his ego, we shall see how it all turns out...

Chargers put a hurtin on his *** last season with the Jets...lol I would love a Vikings Vs. Chargers Superbowl...but i'm not holding my breath lol

Not because he played elsewhere, because of the joke that he has become.

So, how has he become a joke? Because he can't decide whether or not he wants to retire?

Nothing he's done over the past two years (and yes, I've been pretty sick of it as well) erases what he did in Green Bay.

Nothing he can do, short of going on some murder spree or anything equivelent to that, can erase his Green Bay legacy.

It's one thing to say you're sick of what he's done and all the flip flopping about retirement, but to sugest that he's somehow killed his legacy because of what he does in his twilight years is pretty silly.

I think most people say that he's ruined his legacy because instead of being remembered for his accomplishments in GB, the first thing now that people will remember when thinking of him in future years is his actions for the past couple of years.

Instead of "oh yeah, I remember Favre. Man, he was amazing all those years in Green Bay!", it'll be "oh, Favre. He's the guy that retired like 5 times wasn't he?"

I have to call bullshit on this.

That's what he's "remembered for" right now because it's what's most recent.

Years from now people will remember what he did in Green Bay and the past two years will be an afterthought.

And anyone who tries to cement Favre's legacy on the past two years is being pretty naive.

Whatever Favre has done the past two years doesn't take away from what he did in Green Bay before it.

Lots of Hall of Famers have shaky years in their twilight years. Favre's no different than the rest.
