    4. New York Giants at San Diego Chargers | Scouting report
Eli Manning can expect a pretty vocal welcome from Chargers fans. Manning didn't want to go to San Diego and forced a trade to the New York Giants during the 2004 draft. ESPN knew the significance of this story and put it in prime-time on Sunday night. Though Manning got his way, the Chargers can make him pay the price, and they better. If Manning beats the Chargers, the Giants will be 3-0 and the Chargers will be 0-3, and suddenly Manning will be looking to the playoffs and the Chargers won't. The Saints' game in the Meadowlands gave Manning an easier start than expected. He's had two home games, a nice, comfortable start to gain confidence running the offense. The Chargers are mad. They are mad at themselves for losing close games to the Cowboys and Broncos. They are mad about what defenses are doing to their offense. Teams are blitzing Drew Brees and forcing the offense into ruts. Brees is completing only 50 percent of his passes against the blitz, but more importantly, the blitzes are keeping LaDainian Tomlinson in the backfield to block. He hasn't caught a pass in two games, and this is a back who had a 100-catch season. Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron better devise some different protection schemes that will allow Tomlinson, the team's best player, to get out into passing routes.</blockquote>
