I wasn't on the Culpepper bandwagon. Dude can't read a defense, and was never the same once he couldn't just chuck and duck for Randy Moss.

Oh ... and Brees can blow me.

And in that link Culpepper quoted Ghandi.

I'll bet his cell phone is ringing right now. In the caller ID: "Arthur Blank" (Falcons owner).

I never cared who the fish signed and I sure as hell didn't care where Brees landed. I do believe Brees proved Marty was holding this team back but then again he is in the JV.:bolt:

$10 says Tampa Bay picks him up. Gruden can't help himself. He's a QB slut.

Yup. The possibility of Culpepper and Moss joining up ended on day two of the draft.

:icon_huh: Not sure what your talking about. Miami had concerns about Drews shoulder with the money he was asking for and opted to go with Culpepper. Drew ended up going to the team that offered the most money.
    Case closed.

Not sure what pundits your talking about.

All the pundits who said the fish made the right desicion, picked the best QB, and that the Saints would be lucky to win one game. Those pundits.

I gotta agree with ya, Oakland gives him the best chance to start, which is why he wanted to leave Miami in the first place. Although depending on if anything more drastic comes out regarding Vick in the next couple of days, I could see Atlanta. I would love to see him in Oakland, Dude won't be able to run like he did in Minny plus everything else bad about him everyone has pointed out

I don't know about Oakland. They've got so much invested in QBs right now, plus I'd think Russel will be starting by mid season.

What kinda contract did they give McCown? I thought it was pretty cheap but don't remember the #'s. Other than JaMarcus/McCown, they got Andrew Walters, Josh Booty and one other no name. While I could see Russell starting at some point this season, Culpepper could help alot. He has at least been to a Pro Bowl and has a similiar build to JaMarcus. If I were the raiders (thank god thats never gonna happen). I would bring him in for a one year contract and see if he has anything left in the tank, if not, you at least give Russell a little more time to learn
