I hope he gets millions. If I was on the jury they'd have to rename it "foley island" to pay my verdict.

Maybe if Canada was 9-times its current population, like the U.S., about 500% more urban, and wasn't racially homegenous in comparison to the U.S., then you could make comparisons. That's like using Sweden as an example of great socialized medicine and wondering why it's not possible in the U.S. Canada has 26 cities of over 100,000 population. There are twice that many just in California.

Racially homogenous? Are you a frucking idiot? Canada is a ****ing mishmash of every single race you can imagine and we get along fine. We make babies who are half ethiopian jew half catholic inuit ok? At least we have the decency to bring in people from other countries and not say to them "you're not american get the **** out" like you do. Maybe if you guys would keep your diks inside your pants and treat women with respect I would listen to your crappy population argument. We have a society up here which means we work together to help each other whereas you guys give to those who are able and take from those who aren't able. Why don't you start putting money into schools in the dirty south so kids can learn to read and write and get a job instead of break into your sister's house and shoot her :icon_shrug:

There is crime but rarely is there power abuse. The police here are reasonable and even though let's say.. marijuana is illegal here... police don't even throw people who smoke it into the slammer or arrest them. The only people who are arrested are those who are dangerous to the public welfare, whereas it seems like your officers are just dying to exercise their 'power' and will do anything to use it and feel high. Seriously the police here kick *** for the most part. All I said was those who abuse their power in the US seem to abuse it BADLY. Heck we had a gothic madman shooting in a college like 5 months ago don't you remember?

So you are saying that your police judge who should be punished and who shouldnt. And ignore the law when it is something unimportant, they decide when to enforce and what to enforce huh?

Sorry I will stick with my power hungry abusers. Because in a nation our size such things are rare.

They don't judge who should be punished, they simply judge whether or not the person who is breaking the law is potentially dangerous to the public. That's what the law is for... protecting the public welfare. They don't go apeshit like your cops do. The problem with the USA is fear. People are afraid of everything, and if it looks like for a split second that someone is a threat, they will mistreat that person even if he is innocent.
