For Chargers, tight end is more than glorified blocker

    They haven't always thrown to the tight end in San Diego, it just seems that way. They haven't always ignored the tight end in Pittsburgh, it just seems that way.

    Why, in the last game, Ben Roethlisberger aimed four passes rookie Heath Miller's way. Most were knocked down or tipped away, but he did catch one and he's tied with Jerame Tuman for the team lead among tight ends with two apiece.
