For the Chargers, image...is nothing

    <font class="newstext">In fact, one wonders how the bosses get any rest at all, knowing saloons are open late, off-duty cops are shooting at their players (who otherwise are fighting with cops and/or a girlfriend), and cough medicine is liquid gold. Now, their most decorated young player has failed The League's drug test. </font>

    <font class="newstext">It's gone beyond serious. It seems every week a Charger is in trouble with real or NFL law. Sorry, I know everyone thinks this is a good locker room with decent people, but it's gone out of control. Lawyers and bail bondsmen are on a Murphy Canyon pilgrimage. </font></blockquote>
