    Hi friends
I'm proud to present you some photos taken at the first
game of the new NFL Europe season at Frankfurt CB-arena.
It's fun to have american sportsfeeling coming over the atlantic.
We have no word for tailgaiting but there is a big power-party
on the training fields near the stadium, where you can eat, drink,
buy stuff or experience your skills at various stations and hear
    music from the local DJs.

The statium was rebuilt two years ago for Frankfurt soccer and
Galaxy Football 53.000 seats. Yesterday there have been about
32.000 fans. If there's rain they can close it with a tent like material.
    The video screen is great

Very cool - looks like fun. I watched the games and was pleased to see our boy Brett Elliot play well (although his team did not) for the Rhein Fire.

It's great to see so many fans wearing team gear, it seems as if the NFL is really gaining fans over there. I have one question: What's up with the horn blowing? To hear it on TV, it's a very irritating sound, not at all exciting. Is that a tradition that comes from soccer, or what?

Oppps.... sorry Trumpie... not your kind of horn. Your sound is sweet!

Haven't you heard it? I think they have plastic noise makers or something like that. It sounds like a bunch of angry insects. Does anyone know what I'm talking about here... or should I just go back into my lurking cave?

You're talkin about those green cheap long tube horn things rite? I love those they kick ***! I went to a soccer game at da Q, a Chivas (Mexico) vs. River Plate (Argentina) game, and had a blast. I'm not a soccer fan for the most part, but with like 20% of the people they have at a Charger game, they were still able to shake the concrete like on a football Sunday. Without a doubt, soccer fans are more energetic, fun, and attached to the game than football fans are. Those horns let u be loud as hell without losin your voice, even though you probably will anyway. But they do sound kinda like a swarm of locusts or something. Wish they had them for football games but its a cultural thing i guess. But atleast they're better than wearin cheeseheads.

    Thanks for sharing, brother.

FYI: That anonymous negative rep you just got is from me, for wearing a Drew Brees jersey.

That's not traditional, that's commercial. The guys are too lazy
to make noise with lung and mouth. Trumpets or Drums sound
much better. They just buy a technical fog horn since the 80'ies
or 90'ies. Brazilian rhythm bands are the coolest in soccer, they play pure body music, maybe mexican mariaci music in Southern Calif
    comes near this sound.
