Aside from the usual suspects, I am giving mine to Nick Hardwick. This guy is in MAJOR pain, and he gutted out a solid performance today. No flubbed exchanges, a legit pocket that gave Philip a chance to make plays against a great interior DL... Nick is a badass and has a ridiculous pain tolerance. His injury would have ended the season of lesser men.

    Major props, Nick.

    Very nice!

Mine goes to Rivers. He pulled himself up and performed against a really good offense.

Though I thought about giving one to Olshansky who was on a rage tonight.

Not going to be a popular choice, but I'm going with Ted Cotrell. He consistently brought the heat, and the Bolts D responded with big plays.

Teddy brought the wood today, and deserves major props.

It was like last year. The O and the D fed off each other. If they can keep this ball rolling, LOOK THE FUQ OUT.

    Scifres.

Week after week this guy gets out of our own end. We won every battle for field position today

When we finally got a short field to work with we saw the 14-2 team we have come to expect

The 12th man needs a game ball. They boo'ed Rivers and lit a fire under him!

Isn't it amazing how Ted looks great when the offense doesn't give up turnovers in their own territory and puts the defense in horrible positions? Finally the defense had a chance to BREATHE for a split second. Ted is a GAWD.

I would give the game ball to Norv Turner. He had the team fired up today and called a great game. I think he called the defensive plays today too, cause they played really well.

This defense is so different at home compared to on the road. :icon_shrug:

My gameball goes to Rivers. They were stuffing the run and forced him to beat them which is exactly what he did. :bolt:

Finally they played bump and run and brought the blitz. Nice to see Cro starting over DFlo. Thanks Teddy for using the talent you have as your weapons. Just let them loose!

Rivers seemed to settle down this game. Not so happy feet in the pocket. Moved well. Spread the ball around.

Merriman :football: was all over the place!

Hard to give a game ball to Scifres today when he botched a PAT hold for the 2nd time in 3 games. He's booming his punts, but he needs to work on his holding. The missed PAT vs. the Colts almost cost us the game. Luckily, today's game was a laugher so it didn't matter.

    OR

Maybe it is the 4 sacks we got today from bringing the heat compared to the ZERO sacks we got last week :icon_shrug:

This week, Ted did a good job of bringing some heat but he still reverts back to a 4 downlinemen rush on 3rd down and doesnt get good pressure. He needs to get better pressure on 3rd downs.

Anyways, ill give a gameball to Merriman who brought some intensity and got after it today and was in on a lot of plays.

Oh and as i said, the Ravens suck!

Whoever was involved in picking up and gameplanning for the Ravens' blitz packages. It was the best I've seen us pick up the blitz in a LONG time, against a very good blitzing team. We had a few mixups, but for the most part Rivers was given a pocket to step into, and wasn't forced to scramble. The offensive line did a pretty good job picking it up. Rivers did a good job maneuvering around the pocket. The coaches did a good job gameplanning and scheming for it.

They were talking about him being back on "The Sunday Sports Show." They said "Nick being back really helped the o-line,"
I would agree but one thing has me concerned... without him, are we that happless on the o-line?
I mean the guy's great and is one of my favorites but if our o-line has to play without him any other time, they better figure something out!!
I think everybody realizes what a great asset he is to the o-line but he can't be the entire o-line.

With all that said... I'll give the game ball to Hardwick too!!! :bolt:
