Chargers Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer apologized for sounding like a broken record, but a day after his team suffered their third near miss of the season, he couldn't help but point to a pair of characteristics that continued to haunt the Bolts Monday night.

"I'm tired of saying it and I'm sure you're tired of hearing it, but we have to learn to finish and we have to be more consistent in our pass coverage," Schottenheimer said. "Obviously we're disappointed that it didn't turn in our favor, but it's a matter of us making plays in a timely fashion, particularly in a closely contested game like that one."</blockquote>
