Well Eli looked way out of it on that play so it's definitely his fault. I think Bradshaw or whoever said that it was a running play and Manning was out of position. But I think the force of that hit shows that the Jets are going to run 100% on blitzing and hitting, HARD.

Announcers: "When they blitz you that much, you're bound to pick up a big play." I was thinking, "yeah, if they don't drain your blood first."

    3 inch gash, 12 stitches.

Not nearly as big as the gash between his legs. :icon_twisted:

is that because 13 stitches would have been unlucky?

I tuned in a little late, but just in time to catch two of his carries. The guy ran right into the line like he has been for the last two years for about a one and a half yard gain on each carry. I'm glad the bolts turned the page.

I agree that LT looked like the LT we saw in 2009.

Did anyone see Cromartie tiptoe his way out of contact on the little shuttle pass for a big gain at 13:17 of the 2nd quarter? It was classic.... he was totally in position to make a tackle and then just danced away while weakly reaching out one hand towards the runner. Get used to it NY. :icon_rofl:

how about Cro bouncing off Mathews for the winning Touchdown. No wait that would never happen because Cro wouldnt even be in the Camera shot.

On the same drive he was in position, not once, not twice, but on 3 different running plays, and all 3 times he found a way to not be close enough to make a play. It was not lost on me as I watched the Giants keep running right at him. :icon_rofl:

Also laughed when one of the Giant receivers caught a pass right in front of Cromartie and Cromartie tried to make the tackle but pretty much just held on for dear life waiting for someone else to come make the tackle which never happened. I'm sure he breathed a huge sign f relief when the ref blew the play dead due to forward progress.

All this while the 3 announcers BLEW Cromartie, using all the same cliched adjectives about him we've all heard before. All I could do was [IMG]

    That was Hakeem Nicks.

It will be interesting to see how long Rex & his physical defense support this BS from Cromartie. :icon_twisted: :icon_rofl:

Precisely what I was thinking. Mathews stiff arming Cro and running over his azz for the winning TD. Now THAT would be justice right there!
