I have some great memories of Martinez as an Oriole.

I actually would have liked to go to an Expos game in Montreal just for the Hell of it.

Expos games post-strike were the single greatest sporting experience ever. The players take public transportation to get to the games, you can get anybody's autograph you want, you can watch the pitchers warm up like 5 feet away from them pre-game. You can talk with the coaching staff, you can get lots of BP balls. The food was cheap for ballpark food ($4.50 a giant hotdog $4 dollars a beer... isn't it like 10 dollars a hot dog and 12 a beer in new york or something? :icon_rofl:). They didn't even card for beer when I was underage a long time ago. There were ways to get free tickets all you do is fill out a ****** complaint form and they gave you two complementary tickets. You could get in for $1 on some days and on other days you could get in for $6 then you can pretty much sit anywhere you want in the entire stadium except for the upper deck which was closed unless the attendance was 35,000+. There were tons of giveaways and because of the attendance most days the odds of you walking home with loot was very good. The stadium had blackouts routinely and let you exchange your ticket stubs for free games and you could just go around the stadium and pick up ticket stubs that other people threw on the ground and redeem those for an entire season's worth of tickets. We had one of the best mascots in the MLB. Etc.. etc... that is only the beginning. You could sneak anything you wanted into the stadium until the 2002 season post 9-11 when Bud Selig told security to beef up. Even then you could sneak food in. People smoked weed in the bleachers no problem.
