At this point, it doesn't even matter. Everything is in our own hands. We win out, and we get a first round bye.

But seeing the Donks getting embarrassed by the Raiders would be pretty funny

Gradkowski is down with a knee injury today - Jamarcus went in and promptly threw and INT.

No Gradkowski is no bueno for the Raidahs.

I think just a win should clench it. We will beat cincy so we would hold tie breaker because of division head to head tie, common opponent tie division tie and we hold conference edge if we win next week.

If San Diego beats Cincy and loses their next two while Denver wins out the tiebreaker would fall to strength of victory. (They'd be 1-1 in head to head, 5-1 in the division, common games would be even with both losing to Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Washington, and they'd both be 8-4 in conference)

With only two opponents different on their schedules it'd come down to who has the better record between Miami and New England. (being the teams they beat) so we'd have to be Dolphins fans in week 17 if it came down to it.

If Miami and New England end up with the same record it'd go to strength of schedule, which Denver easily wins due to having INDY on their schedule.

Looks like I was wrong about New England, though. At least according to Yahoo's playoff scenario generator.

In short: San Diego win + Denver loss = 1st round bye clinched

How could Denver Win Tie Breaker? So if we lose last two Denver would need alot of help basically. Strength of schedule. I can't remember the last time it came down to that in the NFL. Sounds like awful BCS type ****!!!

You have to break the tie somehow.

Strength of Victory is #5 on the check list.

It just so happens they'd be tied with 1 through 4 in that scenario (and possibly 5 if NE and MIA end up tied)

I am hoping for two ties for denver and the Pats. That would be better than 2 losses bc a tie just makes them look totally pitiful!!!

Can you imagine if your playoff hopes came down to a coin toss?

Screw Denver. I hope they lose out in the Wild Card race and miss the playoffs. There's no reason crappy teams should make into the tournament.
