Acee has a good take here. I don't see RB at 27, but could definitely see Phillips if available, or one of the big OL that will be on the board at that spot. I'd love to see Brandon Albert still there, but I doubt he'll drop that far.

I just hope we have better luck in regards to players at positions of need dropping to us. Last year I thought for sure that one of the upper tier WR prospects (Bowe, Meachem, or Ginn) or Safeties (Griffin, Nelson, or Merriweather) would be there at 30. They weren't and we had to reach for Craig Davis and then spend a **** ton trading back up to get Weddle.

This year, I think our pick just depends on who falls. If none of the upper tier offensive tackles or cornerbacks are still on the board, then I hope AJ can find a trading partner really quick to trade out of the first. In retrospect, trading down in the first would have probably been a good idea last year.

Acee certainly didn't spend much time researching prospects.

I guess it's a Chargers article though. So that's nice.

its a general article but at least it lays it all down why and why not each pick. He probably should've broken down corner and safety but that's just me being picky.

I subscribe to the religion of beef (or is it a cult? :icon_huh:) anyways, I want a RT or a future NT.

Also, I've read some articles that have Brian Brohm getting back into the first round, if that happens do you guys think AJ can trade that pick to a desperate team trying to get him? :icon_shrug:

Why in the hell would we try and move Clary to guard? These positions aren't always interchangeable, and no one knows what he can accomplish at this point. Also, we don't just need a backup RT, we need backups all along the line at this point. I would actually be dissapointed if we don't go offensive line in the first at this point, unless there is a can't miss stud at defensive back. I would be kind of pissed if we went runningback. Get a dominate offensive line, and you'll have plenty of success running the ball, whether the runningback is Chris Johnson, or Tyrone Gross.

Any chance in hell that AJ actually moves UP in the first round? Whitehurst would make an excellent prospect for future starting QB in Miami. Any chance Miami trades down far enough to make it feasible? Any other team out there looking like a good "trade up" prospect?

Just trying to figure out how AJ could manufacture his way into position for Clady or johnathan Stewart. Any chance in hell?
