Great win today in the cold of Buffalo. That's a big win to be able to go across three time zones, in cold weather, in a hostile environment, and get a win.

And you guys can thank me whenever you want regarding the Titans-Colts game today, HAHA!!!! If you guys garner homefield throughout, you should send some thank you cards to Rob Bironas and Vince Young.

Amusing sound at LP Field after the game:

The Titans fans started chanting WE WANT ARCHIE!!!! Eli last week, Peyton today, and now we want the old man!!!!

    Thank you Titans!

We are now in a very good position for the #1 overall seed.

Also, Vince Young is again showing how good he can be.

Winners of 5 out of your last 7? If only you guys had started Young at the beginning, you might be in the playoff hunt as a possible wildcard.

Nice victory, Titans. Yeah.... all we hear is how the bolts can't win out of california and how they can't play in cold weather and how they can't travel through 3 time zones.....

    well.... nice win.

That was an impressive kick for several reasons

Now, to be honest, he had a 20 mph northerly wind blowing behind him, but it was bitterly cold in the second half of the game. It was maybe 30 degrees in the fourth quarter and that football had to be hard as a rock, and frozen footballs don't travel well!!!!

Also, Fisher played rope-a-dope with Dungy and won. There were 12 seconds left and Indy had one timeout remaining. Fisher ran the FG team out on the field and then he ran the punt team back out on the field at the last second. When this occurred, Indy had the wrong personnel on the field and had to burn their last timeout. He did that with the sole purpose that in the event of a missed FG, Peyton Manning would have had the ball at the 50 yard line, with 6-7 seconds and a timeout. Since they used the TO, Fisher knew that Indy couldn't do anything, except a Hail Mary in the event of a miss and sent Bironas out there for the old college try. The rest is history!!! I'm still trying to thaw out, but it was worth it.

Thanks Titanfan! You guys took out both Mannings! Vince looks like the real deal, but your kicker is something else! :icon_banana:

When Fisher sent the punting unit out, I was thinking, "Damn you, Fisher, give the kid a shot." But then Dungy called a timeout and gave Fisher a chance to hear all the rumbling in the stadium, much of it coming from his own bench. The kick was awesome.

Congrats on the victory. Vince Young is beginning to look like Michael Vick with better accuracy and more composure.

Great day for Charger fans. Titans came up big for us.

That kick easily made it from 60. Great use of a timeout.

Young has a chance to be something special. His delivery is so smooth. He will be a mobile Donovan McNabb. They are looking good for '07.

Thanks a bunch. When you guys absolutely pulverized us back in September, I honestly wondered if this Titans team would win a game this year:lol: . Vince Younghas just got something about him, I don't know what it is, but he's just a winner. Now, I'm sure he'll have some more 5-20, 4 INT games, but I always feel like we have a chance with him.

I'm really happy for you guys and hope that you all get one of those top two seeds, considering my flight is now OFFICIALLY BOOKED for San Diego on January 12!!! It's a balmy 26 degrees right now in sunny Nashville, and I need some January warmth.

The Titans and Chargers now have something in common.

No, it's not having Billy Volek as the backup QB. :icon_tease:

Both teams know what's it's like to beat both Mannings in the same season. We did it in 2005, they did this year.

However, the Titans have the edge on us because they did it back-to-back!
