Cory Withrow filled in nicely, including a first play shotgun snap. We didn't drop off at all with him him playing, no dropped snaps, good blocking coordination. He's tough and plays hard. I got no problems so far.

Pro Bowl center Nick Hardwick injured his right foot early in Sunday's win over the Raiders, and signs point to the injury being somewhat severe. Hardwick was in a boot after the game. "We know what it is, but I can't tell you," Hardwick tells the North County Times. "Let's just say with the bye coming up we steal one week there." Cory Withrow took his place in the lineup. The Chargers are on bye in Week 7.

Cory Withrow will fill in nicely, and I am glad that we have a bye now so that he has a little time to take "starter snaps". It will also help with the addition of Chambers (good move AJ).

    Trust in Withrow!

I think we need to trust, and I use the word trust SO lightly, all of our players. If our 2nd stringers are scrubs, than we're f-cked. Lucky for us Withrow is good, but all in all- we should feel comfortable with many of these clowns.

Withrow did real well in the game and some practice w/ the 1st string should only make him better. Guy has been in the league for 8 years, he should be fairly salty.:abq1:
