Yeah, I had to be there for this one. Hopefully it will be better than the last regular season match up I witnessed there. Second row behind the bench so perhaps we'll turn up on screen. Hopefully we'll be smiling and celebrating! Anyone else gonna be there?

Have fun! I had a slim chance of going, but the ticket prices scared me off since it is a home opener. At this point I think I'll be going to NY for the Chargers beating the Jets.

If you think you'll be on TV, make sure to DVR the game and take a picture of the TV to show us!

Yes that cold sunday night in 2007 was painful, v painful. Had 1 'Pats fan' enjoy running down the steps to shouting 'Chargers suck' etc to us all through the game. We also took loads of trash talk ref Merriman & steroids.... Thumper was with me.

I believe he used the word "lubed" instead of "passed out" .. #imjustsaying

Doesn't help with his whole "gay" thing if you ask me ..

No, that you wouldn't even consider the hot dog.

And clams are more indicative of the local fare.

The bride and I watched that game at FOX in the Irvine Spectrum Center...Orange County NE Patriots fan club...we had the mezzanine to ourselves including a couple bar tenders and three flat screens...about 40 Pats fans. Some young Charger fans...maybe eight or nine...invaded the space and talked bunches of trash...real loud and obnoxious...at about 10 minutes of the first quarter they had all disappeared. It was a healthy thrashing...poor Pats lost one game that year, and we all know what one that was.

Geez I wonder what it feels like to go 18 and 1?

Talk about trash talking our quarterback plays with a torn ACL, there other quarterback cries if someone comes within 2 feet of his knee and wants a flag thrown.

I went in 2005 when we STOMPED 'em minus Seymour, and some linebackers. It was the best Bolts/Pats game to see that decade, hopefully this one will top it, any kind of W ugly or pretty (and that one was VERY pretty!) will help the 3-14 in the last 17 I heard arrogantly pronounced on Pats boards this week. Speaking on Beardeds, watch for the fan who has the bearded Hot Dog waiting for unsuspecting visiting fans...he showed me his "Hot Dog" twice, to the roar of the crowd, I tried to find him after the game...but he was nowhere to be found, and I got lots of congrats for the W ending the Pats home winning streak on the way out of the stadium.

It's the worst feeling you can imagine. I wonder what it's like never to have won anything since 1964? Had you even been born then?

Dude...chill...it's the Patriots-Chargers on Sunday. It will be a fun game...I hope we win, you hope your team wins. This ain't life threatening, ya know.....it's freaking football.

What chest-thumping? I deal with what is and what has been, and your guys haven't measured up that well...all things being equal. That might change, but as of right now my team provides chest-thumping fodder...your team to this point plays the game as an NFL team that has never won anything. Reality. If you win on Sunday, your team will have been better that day....I think this will be a prelude to the AFC Championship...then we can talk some trash. Don't get ahead of yourself.

Rivers on 2 good knees will win this game. Close, possibly the most exciting matchup of the week.

I like our chances a lot.

Either way, it certainly won't be the end of the season for either team.

I agree...the Chargers have a terrific chance...it's a fine team. The Patriots weaknesses worry me....McCourty needs to REALLY show up, and the O line needs to push your middle D guys out of the way and our RBs need to challenge the middle of the Bolts D line.

It's actually not that bad. What's worse are the pointed moments when your team gets close but doesn't convert. The ice bowl. Or McCree trying to run back the int. vs. the Pats. Or, I'm sure, the Pats going 16-1.

The rest is all about being a dedicated fan in the face of zero Lombardis. I'm proud of it. I wear it like armor.

    Any given Sunday, right?

thank you,I feel that Rivers will show you guys where your weakness really is. Brady is good, but if the same defense shows up that only gave McNabb 39 yards, Brady is going to have a very long day. IMO the winner of this game will host the AFC Championship game.
