    As per head coach Marty Schottenheimer's policy, James Lofton couldn't reply recently when a media member inquired about the Chargers selecting a wide receiver in next weekend's draft. The scribe had to decipher body language, and Lofton's revealed little possibility of adding to his stable of pass-catchers.</blockquote>
