And two penalties to complement it :D

Loved seeing him complain about one after he practically undressed Mike Wallace. Completely in character.

He looked like he was going to but lost his footing.

Guarantee that one would have been a "Caption This" subject.

    I get the rhetoric...

But seriously guys. LT and Cro were there. Rivers and Co. were not.

Chargers should nut up before we go all 'gangasta' on the iterwebs, shoudnt they?

Yep Mendenhall slipped. I was so pissed. It would have been simply 'glorious' to see him run over Cro into the endzone. Cro can thank his lucky stars that the turf tackled him cos he sure would not.

True, we gotta quit worrying about LT and Cro and start worrying about how we're going to win the AFC West next season. It isn't a gimme anymore with both the Faiders and KC much improved. Time to move on. Countdown to the April Draft......

The word of the day is "schadenfreude".

Yes the Chargers need to sack up, we all agree. But wasn't it even the least bit fun to hear Cro (and LT to a certain extent) run his mouth about how things are so much better in NY and then watch him crap the bed yet again?

I know I for one enjoyed it :D

Cro, yeah. He made the comment about "where am I where are they" or something of the like.

But LT... Man I cant help but have empathy for him. He knows he is near the end of the road. He gets as close as he has ever been and again sits home for the game. I would be sorely dispaointed as well. Anyone of us would, anyone who says differently is just telling themselves a lie.

No empathy here. I would find it funny for him to be the Dan Marino of RBs. The way he left ruined any chance of me ever cheering for him (hell, I was cheering for New England to beat the Jets...NEW ENGLAND!!!). He's a selfish douche canoe and he doesn't deserve **** for the way he treated the city of San Diego on his way out.

hahaha one of those "tackles" was him collapsing at the feet of the running back. I lol'd when I saw that.

I disagree. The Jets won absolutely nothing. They didn't win their division or the AFCC. Same as the Chargers. No one remembers playoff wins if they don't lead to at least a superbowl appearance.

Feel free to disagree that is cool. I think it is obtuse to be talking smack when the other team is playing while your teams season is over.

It reminds me of a Raider fan talking about their trophies while not being able to slap together a winning season in about a decade...

Cromartie continuing to win friends and influence people
New York Jets' Antonio Cromartie rips NFL, union over CBA talks - ESPN New York

While I actually kind of agree with him on the statement of the Union and its head who stated they regard the negotiations as a "war", Cromartie manages to make it sound ignorant and unintelligible

Not to mention Mr. 9-8-7 (stolen from Hacksaw; 9 kids 8 states 7 different women - or is it 8 different women 7 states?) has a damn good reason to want to play, needs to keep those kids in child support

He's going to end up as a cautionary tale on an "Outside the Lines" show in the near future. Million dollar talent....10 cent brain!
