TRADE FOR HALL WILL BE HARD

Despite reports of talks between the Falcons and the Giants regarding a trade of cornerback DeAngelo Hall to the defending Super Bowl champs, a league source tells us that Hall's contract will make a trade with New York, or any team, a difficult proposition.

Though Hall has said he won't insist on a new contract as part of a trade, no one will be willing to give up a first-round draft pick for a guy who is signed for only one more year.

And with Hall, as we hear it, hoping to make $10 million per year as part of his new deal, the thinking is that no one would be willing to give up that kind of money and a first-round draft pick.

The rumor out of ESPN was that the Giants wanted to trade for him and were willing to move their first rounder. Let him go and start **** in NY with Eli, that should be funny.

Hall is head case and malcontent I wouldn't put on the roster for any reason at the present time. We have talent now that's better than he is.

Hall would be the 3rd best corner here

No way AJ gives up a #1 and $10m per year for a nickle corner

I would rather have Asante Samuel if he is still a FA.

I wouldn't label Hall a malcontent. the dude had legitamate points on both of the examples in the article. after all wasn't Petrino the guy who bolted ATL the first chance he got?

Hall is more of a shiit talker than a malcontent and we already have our limit of those guys.

(although with Rivers it is more like a "crap" talker)

I honestly don't see where he would fit in...

Pass. We are set at corner and Hall would not come here to be a nickel.

Don't know much about the guys history, but if the personal fouls are an issue, again no thanks. I don't want another knuckle head CB on this team. The one we had is going FA and my feelings are don't let the door hit ya in the *** on the way out.

A team would need to have a glaring hole at CB and the Chargers are not in that department. If anything, AJ will look to the draft so we can develop a CB. We certainly do not need a starter.

This is what concerns me. D-Flo is gone. The guy is talented enough that if Cro or Jammer went down, he can step in and play. There is nobody on the roster (even Paul Oliver and the jury is still out on him) who I feel comfortable with going to battle at CB in the event Cro or Jammer went down and D-Flo is gone. We are one hit away from looking like **** (unless Oliver starts turning heads).

I certainly think he can do it, and I think he's earned a chance to step up
