If your wife left you for another man, would you root for them as a couple? :icon_shrug:

I can answer that but there is a long story behind it. Yes, I can but with a reason.

Let me put it another way. Lets say your wife told you she loved you and you loved her more than anything in the world and you find her in bed with some stranger.

Unless I am missing something here, I find it hard to believe anyone would cheer the new couple on unless they had a porn camera.

    Ok, you got me there!

So, are you saying you would give up football for good? If not, how would you pick another team?:icon_shrug:

The Bolt's have always been my home team. I've followed them from afar the last eight year's so I highly doubt I'd give up on them now. I can see how being in Dego could taint their departure, but I'm sure y'all would come around.

The alternative (becoming a Raiduds fan) is not an option to me. In fact I even find it hard to even like another team, especially the NFC. The only other AFC team that I even kind of like is the Stillers, but I can't see my self traveling up north in the dead of winter to catch a game.

Interesting viewpoints, It seems that for the most part, people that became Bolt fans while living somewhere else tend to not really care where they move. If people live in SD and are fans they would probably continue to follow them if they leave.

I was born and raised in SD then moved. San Diego is my home and the Bolts and Pads are MY teams. They are part of the fabric of SD. I just can't see them being called the San Antone Chargers. Its just not right!!

I was pissed at Sterling when he moved the Clips. Hated him ever since.

Maybe I wouldn't hate the team if they left but I sure would be pissed at the Spanos

I would not follow football. The Chargers have been my team since birth. I will not root for a team that hails from outside San Diego County. The jig would be up and over for good. All of it.

Why would I watch something I love when there is no team to root for from my hometown?

You are saying I should enjoy other teams just for the sake of the game and it does not fly that way for me.

You have college ball you look forward to and how it affects the entire NFL. I on the other hand could careless because I do not follow college ball.

We are supposed to root for the home team like the song says and not transplanted teams.

Good spoken, Concudan, it wouldn't be the teams fault if the
Chargers move out of San Diego.

If they move, why can't they leave the name in S.D? like the browns did.

Are you looking at it from the Chargers side or the San Diego side?

Do you really want the Chargers to pay for everything? Shouldn't San Diego contribute? :icon_shrug:

Those in San Diego that benefit from a new stadium should pay for it. Hotels, restaurants, airlines, tourist attractions. Let's wait for those business leaders to suggest a self-tax that will help pay for a new stadium.

I don't live in San Diego. I pay for all of the things you listed as well as my tickets. Are you saying that only those that attend the games should pay for it?

Look at the majority of Charger season ticket holders. Would you say they're San Diegans? I would. Your list doesn't benefit from it unless there is a Super Bowl being played or even a Bowl game.

I've got no problen with a little more tax on what it takes for me to get to the games. I can afford it. But atleast tax the one's that really use it. That would be the citizens of San Diego.

The Chargers should pay for everything.

Hey, the City can help if they want by issuing Municipal Bonds. That way the people who want to buy bonds, the public, can do so if they wish to help finance the stadium and get a tax free rate of return.

You keep calling yourself a business something or another and you post this? What sane person would invest in bond's involving the City of San Diego?
The Chargers have given the city an option. Let us help or you take it in the A$$. If the Chargers build somewhere else,San Diego is left holding the bag on a new park they can't even afford to build.
