This was on Drudge Report this morning! WTF

Watching the highlights it seems the only pundit (PUTZ) that gave us any love was Trent Difer. It is so frustrating. I think the only way we could get any love is to have a Manning on the roster.

The Drudge Report isn't "media" by any means...tabloid at best...

I'm disturbed that the team is even on that POS rabble-rag.

As easy as it is to mock the transparent agenda and laziness of Drudge & The New York Post,
this really isn't about "how the media see the Chargers"...
these two partisan outlets are merely conveying a tacky story:
That the classless outfit known (see their video, if 'classless' seems unfair, @ https://www.dollarshaveclub.com/one-wipe-charlies)
as 'Dollar Shave Club' have somehow gotten real NFL players to attach their names to this product...
including a Charger. :( Awkward, yes, but "the media" isn't actually saying anything about the Chargers, here.

btw...I have no issue w/ the concept of moistened wipes, or marketing them to men...but this approach kinda sucks...

It's not about the Drudge Report! It's about how San Diego get no coverage, except to set up what ever team they are playing highlights! Do you think the Chargers would have been ranked #5 if they beat the Texans? I guess no sense in kicking a dead horse.

How we are covered is nothing new. Win a few Super Bowls and it will change for a little while, but we will never get the focus of a major East Coast market team.

It is not just the drudge

On NFL Primetime last night it was all about how the Eagles did or did not do vs the Chargers. By the way they were talking, you would have thought Philly had won the game. Jaws had to wipe the dribble off his chin after that segment.

I agree and it pisses me off to no end. We should of have beat the texans and we beat the eagles yet Im on bleacher report and some ***hole writer puts us as one of his five teams guaranteed to lose. Its BS like this that gets people, and worse players, to think like the mannings.

Just like Michael Irvin, who predicted that the Eggles would put a 6 burger on us this past Sunday. Guess some Chargers fans tweeted back to Mr. Irvin what they thought of his ravings after the game. Then Irvin tweets about the hate he is getting from Bolts fans. Not only that, but every single analyst on every channel picked the Eggles to win.

How many of us would have picked against the Eagles prior to 10am last sunday?

Well, the old saying is that the home team gets about a field goal, re. the spread.

And since the Flaming Thumbtacks are currently favored by 3, at home,

and both teams are 1-1 (the Titans with a point differential of +1, and the Chargers' at zero)...

it looks like a wash, from the bookmaker's p.o.v. ...so I'm not really taking offense at this particular line...

I did..but in the back of my mind during the last 6 minutes of the game, I thought that the Chargers would likely blow it (with a little nudge from the zebras). There is one person though, who visits here about once a week that
isn't completely and overtly biased: EmDiggy...and he actually picked the Chargers over the Eggles.
I guess now I have to re-watch his preview of the game to see if it actually went down how he said it would.

We've been thru all this. Remember the embrace the hate campaign!?. I couldn't give 1 sh1t what the media and especially the likes of Michael Irvin think.

I'm content knowing the future is brighter now in Chargerville than it has been for some time with TT and Mad Mike at the helm. Who cares what others think. We're gona do our talking on the field from now on.

It goes back decades. During games, announcers would be doing segments on things like Bill Cower's dry cleaner's pet dog's favorite chew toy and ignoring the Boltz on the field. Like someone already said, if you want media attention, win a SB.

Hey, I just take it, because it will make each win sweeter. Like this Eagels game was one of the best victories in a long time, not just because of how great the game was, but because of all the initial reactions. And I will take more of that. After all, it's not like the Chargers have given them reason to think this way.

In the end, it's nice, because we're gonna know the band-wagoners when they jump on.

I will say though, Schefter seems to be giving most of the credit to Rivers and the Bolts.
