Well we have a while to game plan against the Ravens so I thought I would start a thread on how to attack these AFC biitches. :bolt: :foley53: :bolt:

Their 4-3 style defense so far has posted the leagues best defensive numbers and boast a scary secondary with McAllister - Rolle - Reed and Ray Lewis at LB.

Their run defense is number one as well (1.7 yd rush avg).

Here is the Raven defensive starting line-up.

    LDE 90 Trevor Pryce
    LDT 97 Kelly Gregg
    RDT 92 Haloti Ngata
    RDE 55 Terrell Suggs

    SLB 96 Adalius Thomas
    MLB 52 Ray Lewis
    WLB 57 Bart Scott

    LCB 21 Chris McAlister
    RCB 22 Samari Rolle

    SS 26 Dawan Landry
    FS 20 Ed Reed

My thoughts are to run a series of jumbo sets and run straight at their run strength. Pound the living **** out of their defensive front 7 unmercifully and with exteme prejudice.

Just tell the fats boys up front to annihilate anything which are not our colors for the entire first quarter and into the second quarter. Smash mouth football at its best.

I would not mind seeing a 10-0 Chargers score at halftime.

Just as the Raven tongues are hanging out and they are panting like dogs, we let the ball fly.

As the defense gets drawn in like moths to a fire, we torch their asses - deep.

We get 4 TD's and the Bolt defense just beats the living hell out of the Raven offensive line.

The Ravens struggle in the red zone so just pound the pisss out of them and they will fold under the defensive nightmare of the Chargers.

:bolt: I see BOLT domination and pain. :bolt:

How do you game plan these AFC swine ?

Whew... the Ravens are a tough team to pound... Usually their defense inflicts most the agony... But if we're going to win we have to beat them at their own game so I really agree with most of what you're suggesting. I just remember Ray and LT trading comments through the media last time we played. I think Ray swore LT would be held under 100 yards, and I think he was wrong... But my memory is hazy and if I'm wrong I'm sure I'll hear about it!

Ironically I'd suggest using sweeps, counters and short passes to tire the big uglies up front. That front four is probably one of the best we'll face all year and I don't have total faith in our inside running game to handle Ngata and Gregg. I'm still kinda worried about Suggs and Pryce on the outside. I think their LBs are overrated especially Lewis and I'd target him without mercy as I would Samari Rolle

I'm also a big fan of the reverse, but the Ravens D is so fast from sideline to sideline that I would hate to be the WR trying to turn that corner.

Yeah, but if we get the to over bite, they wont catch the receiver at the corner, it would be 10-15 yards down the field...

Ngata is a big fat pig and will tire if you run right at him like he did in college...also pound Reed in the box and have LoNeal pancake his azz a few times...I see us using The Burner more in this game than any other since he joined the team using LT for screens and in the slot and out wide to pull those safeties out...Gates needs a big game too and I'd like to see Rivers go to Manu, Floyd and VJ and just wear down that secondary with our behemoth receivers...

u r brilliant  If LT runs the ball and not catch it - I will be pissed. Turner should run. VJ, Keenan and Gates. I wish Lo Neal could catch the ball...

I have read a few bits and pieces from the Ravens boards and they are afraid of our running game or LT.

They have not seen a back like LT before and we got 100 yards on their *** in the last meeting after they predicted we would not rush for 100 yards on their team.

I see a **** load of "wham" blocks from the FB and the TE in motion until the Raven defense starts to piss blood.

The Raven fans are worried about their O-Line holding up against our relentless pass rush. They should be worried even though we did not collect **** against the Titans - we will be hungry for more sacks with Igor getting his roid rage in gear again.

I am also reading they are well aware this will be the toughest test of their entire schedule and it will be facing the Chargers.

I wanna see that Jumbo-Line with Olivea next to McNeill and Manu on the left end...they have to hold their blocks a little longer than they have been...I'm hopin' that Hardwick can hold up against the Big Fat Pig Ngata until he tires in the 2nd quarter...then the middle is ours...:icon_banana:

This probably the game of the week in week 4.

    Our D's are evenly matched
But SD's Offense is much better than theres, the edge goes to us in this one.:icon_toast:

From what I saw when the Ravens played the turds, their oline doesn't seem all that great. McNair was pressured quite a bit. I'll watch their game against Cleveland this weekend to get a better idea.

Jamal Lewis certainly isn't what he used to be, so our run stoppers will have a field day.

True what you said about the titans, but I loved the way our D adjusted and played containment instead of relying on the balls-out pass rush 100% of the time. :bolt:

How to beat the ravens. Or any nfl team. You hit them where they don't expect. They think pass you run. And vice versa.

On defense you never show what your going to do. Or who's coming. Thats the beauty of having most of the guys back each year. They are able to work together in disquising whats coming. Thats what makes the new england patriots so good. Bellicheck has that down pat. Hit em where they don't expect.

    The match ups are interesting.

Gates will be covered by the SS #26 Dawan Landry. This will not be enough so one of the three dickheads below will be assigned bracketing coverages (in/out & over/under).

    LCB 21 Chris McAlister
    RCB 22 Samari Rolle
    FS 20 Ed Reed

This leaves single coverage against our massive sasquatch-like WR's.

Oh and Samari Rolle is 6' and McAlister is 6'1" and Ed Reed is 5'11" which are 3 cornerbacks for this defense

*(McCree our FS is proving to be no slouch as well).

Yup - I see us DESTROYING the Ravens and sending the message we own this conference and league.

The difference between the two teams is the ravens are already worried about playing the chargers and the chargers can hardly wait to go there to prove that the chargers are a good team.

That is the sense I get reading their boards but I also see they realize as we do that we have not played anybody worth a ****.

It will be a good gauge to see where each team is at because the Ravens are being considered as an elite team in the NFL.

The nice advantage for this weekend is to enjoy my NFL Ticket for once instead of going to the games. :)

And I do not see this as a TRAP Game or one the Chargers will get overconfident or look past these cats to the Steeler match-up.

These next two games will set a serious tone and will send a tremendous shot across the bow of the NFL that the San Diego Chargers have arrived and we are pisssed off and on a mission - a quest - a Lombardi. :bolt:

We want to play this game. The team and us want to show the nfl were for real. We've got something to prove. While the ravens are worried that they may loose.

I wish we were playing this week. And i'm sure the team does too.

I remember one game where a team ran right at Ray Lewis. They did pretty well, they eliminates his speed side to side and removed his angles. The Ravens lost that day, I cant remember who they played though.

That is the game I remember as well. I can't remember who played them but dudes were blowing by Ray Lewis. They ran right at his asss and made him look foolish on a few plays and actually I saw him get totally lit up and destroyed a few times.

I think the Raider game could be an effective game plan to start and then open it up in the 3rd quarter and never look back but run right at the bastards. Hit them so hard in the mouth their daddy's balls are shaking. :bolt: :foley53: :bolt:

This is the best talent we have ever assembled. Better than our Super Bowl team from top to bottom (although we need better beef :icon_evil: )

Trumpie pointed out to me during the last game big Jamal. He paces back and forth like a hungry tiger before the play. He keeps looking over at the prey, pacing back and forth. Then when the time is right he attacks.

Can you imagine the energy the manster Jamal will have to unleash on the Ravens OL by Sunday after next?

Jamal is talking trash. He is also getting himself pisssed off and he will pace and and down the line like a lion stalking his prey. When you see him doing this just key on his asss because is is ready to explode and blow his men or combo of men up. It is a beautiful thing to see LIVE and the TV camera does not catch this action for the Bolt couch potatoes who do not attend the games.

It was a subtle comment and I am glad you remembered because seeing it LIVE you get a sense of what is going through Jamal's mind given the down and distance. :bolt: :foley53: :bolt:

The Ravens fans know Jamal Lewis can not take over a game and conceded LT is the type of back who could.
