After hearing the weather reports on all the local stations yesterday, I was certain that we were looking at another Katrina Catastrophe right here in lovely San Diego. Well, after surviving the night, here is my recall of the events: rainfall- 0.0001 inches (it might just be morning dew). Wind- 0.001 knots. I think my neighbors sunflowers might have even lost a few seeds. Very sad. Poor guy is out front assessing the damage with his insurance company.

Anyways, I hope everyone survived last nights STORM of the CENTURY. Time to go and start picking up what is left of my life.

So it's still there? Thank GOD. I was worried that the gaslamp was buried at the bottom of the bay.

EC, I've put in a call to FEMA. They should be on their way.

I hope they gave you enough warning to evacuate to higher ground

I'm just glad that we stocked up on canned food and water. I will assess the damage to the hood once I take the dog out for a walk.

I hope there aren't any angry mobs patrolling the streets like in New Orleans.

EC, the weather was so bad that I almost couldn't take my shirt off during my jog this morning.

I don't know what today brings, but I'll be turning to our local media outlets to help us through this.

Thanks for checking in, TK. I was worried that the OC was getting slammed worse than us down here. Smart move checking with your local media outlets.

My sister in law is in town and wants to go to Sea World. It might be the safest place, as the whales and fish are equipped to handle the torrential downpour that I am certain will be here any minute. I will keep you posted.

One other thing, the hot MILFs that usually run in the morning, the ones with the fake boobies that don't bounce when they jog, none of them were out today because it would get their hair wet.

This storm is affecting EVERYBODY.

At least if they get washed away they have built in flotation devices.

Carlsbad Bolt Fan, what part of San Diego are you in? I don't recall you ever telling us where you live. Del Mar maybe? Coronado? Can you assess the damage where ever you are?

I think he lives in Chula Vista.

With this torrent of rain coming down the mudslides must be something awful.

Yes, those poor people are probably washed out to sea at this point. It could be why he hasn't responded. :icon_sad:

Do you guys remember Carlsbad_Bolts_Fan? He hated the Raiders something aweful.

Sorry, I was just practicing for the future. We should still hold out hope.

I heard Coronado is now an undersea urchin sanctuary. Two trees survived, but the Balboa squirrels swam to them, and Aquirre has proclaimed Eminent Domain over the sunken island.

    Film at 11 .....

    Tragic and sad...

Not everything you said, rather that Aguirre survived. Is there no God?

Aaron Mansker, now head of the Sunken Island Water Police, drove the boat that carried Aguirre to assess the status of the emigrant Balboa Squirrels.

Donna Frye paddled her surfboard over when the current went out this morning.

All agreed that the Chargers are to blame for FEMA's slow response.

Dammit Shammy, I need to be serious here. It is very tragic. We lost one of our own today. RIP CBF.

I just spilled some coffee on the floor for our fallen brother.
