But FUQ the Pats. Fuq Boston. Can you imagine dealing with Pats Fans for the rest of time should they win the Super Bowl and finish the "Path to Perfection"? I can't. Fuq this arrogant fan base.

I don't care about Eli's refusal to play in SD. At the time, you can't honestly blame him. We had one good year out of 10, and the gleam of NYC was within striking distance. I'm glad he shunned us. Without that, we don't have Merriman. I forgive Eli as any fan of football knows that we ruined the Giants in that deal.

That said... THERE IS NO FAWKING WAY I CAN ROOT FOR THE PATS IN THE SUPER BOWL!!!!

Sorry. I started the week thinking that I would, but after everything has sunk in, I am all about the Giants next week. The only reason Charger Fans don't want the Giants is because they don't want to see Eli hold that Lombardi. I don't care anymore, as I am confident that when it's all said and done, Rivers will hoist that ****** a few times himself. What I can't handle is Red Sox Fan calling "best team ever" for the rest of my life. Seriously. These people are crap, and everything you ever do with one of them for the rest of your short time on this planet, the second they find out you are a football fan, they will be all over you talking about the "greatest team ever".

I would rather have the "Biggest CHOKE ever" to throw in their faces.

I am all about the Giants in the Super Bowl. I hope Eli wins the MVP and throws for 5 TD's. I don't care if the national media rips us for trading him. I don't care if they laud his decision not to play in San Diego. I know the truth, and I believe in The One.

I would love nothing more that to see the postgame presser with Brady eating crap at the podium explaining the reason why they blew a chance at immortality. Belichecks presser would be dessert. I can't stand that team, and my hatred for them far outweighs my hatred of Eli, simply because of what trading him brought us.

    "Perfection"? FUQ THAT.

    GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!

Plus, rooting for the 'Dog is always more fun.

This could all work for us......

    1) Eli gets injured on the first play of the game (vaginitis).
    2) That fat back-up comes in and throws 5 TD passes and wins.

Totally dude and Rivers did more than enough to squash any doubts as far as Rivers/Eli. Let's not forget the other players we got in that deal that helped us get where we are.

I think the Pats will be in for a dogfight and I will be watching but then again maybe my butthurt heals a little faster than others. :icon_shrug:

Hell yeah I'm watching this game. :bolt:

The NFL is pimping the 2004 QB class. PR, Ben, Eli are all getting big props for stepping up in the playoffs. As much as I fugging hate the NFL right now I'll get behind the fall of the Pasties just because I hate the love fest going on. The east coast bias is so fuking obvious I hope they both lose!!!

But, in reality, there is slim to no chance the Gnats will win

The only heat Rivers will get is that he is the last of them to win the Big One.

    He will. And soon.

And regardless of any comments I have made up to this point, I am excited to see this one. It's historical regardless of the winner.

And I knew I would have no problem convincing YOU, thus the shameless Red Sox reference.

I call BS. The Pats won't be able to cover Plax, and their pass rush is the best in the NFL. I worry about their safety play, but I still think the Pats are ripe to get picked off. Especially with the bad blood from week 17.

Just say NO to the Pats.

    I agree with you, EC.

I can stand that ShEli wins the SB (after all, he's not what got them there) if I can have the pleasure of seeing a Boston team lose to a NEW YORK team on the cusp of a perfect season. Talk about the ultimate Beantown Buzzkill :D

    I'm rooting for the Giants.

    how about :
    1) Eli goes 2 for 15 with 3 ints and no tds in the first half, then he doesn't come out of the locker room (with said injury) for the second half
    2) Brady gets sacked 7 times and picked off 3 (no tds for him either)
    3) The fat backup comes in and wins the game for the giants

This game is a royal pain for me. I will probably watch it, but it will feel like using Prep H. for hemorrhoids. Watching it will be painful, but not as painful as missing it.

Sorry, I can't get on board with this. The Pats already get enough love to make me puke; I only have some much vomit in my body to go around for them, so another Lombardi won't make any difference to me.

But if Eli wins the big one...

..it vindicates Ernie Accorsi, and Giants fans can claim victory in their trade with us.

    I'm rooting for the favorite.

I make a ranking between the teams starting the playoffs
    from 1st to 12th

a Superbowl with NY Giants 11th vs. Patsies 12th isn't worth
standing up at 2 a.m. and watch TV. It would be boring for me.
