    Passport office here in Hot Springs.

    I'll be working 4 days of 10 hour shifts, Tue-Fri

    I'll save up and fly out to San Diego on the Saturday before the Lions game and actually make a game this year! (Barring any unforseen work schedule changes, anyways)

    I just did a price check on plane tickets, I should definitely be able to afford them after 2 or 3 paychecks, while still having plenty of $$$ left over for bills. (I even allowed an extra 150 if the ticket price goes up between now and then)

    It's just a matter of the work schedule remaining the same and getting a ticket. (which shouldn't be a problem)

    Hey, I gots a question for you.

    My passport expired like 35 years ago when I was a little kiddie.

    I've never really traveled outside the country, unless you want to count Baja California.

    So, if I apply for a (re)new passport, how long would it take me to get it?

    I don't know the answer to that question to be quite honest.

    But they were pretty far behind not too long ago.

    They only just recently stopped working 7 days a week to try and catch up

    8-10 weeks unless you pay to have expidited ($25?) then 2 weeks

    Two months or so isn't too bad. I don't need a passport that quickly, as I don't plan on traveling outside until maybe January or February.

    However, I read a few months ago how travelers to Baja had an extension on their passport requirements delayed because of a huge backlog that was as much as six months. :icon_eek:

    Go to the County Clerk's office and ask to make sure you'll get it in time.
