    The Patriots are also being winnowed out. They will not be as good next year. I can't see them as the odds on team.

    It's not really a dis... 15:2 is the same thing as 7.5:1 and there are only two teams with higher odds of winning. The Pats at 3:1 (which is a farging joke), and the Colts at 7:1. And I know we beat the colts twice, but they're the NFL Media Darlings and to be neck and neck with them is a good thing.

    ...I also think that Indy's entire division is getting better. The Jags have made some free agent improvements, Houston is getting better and the Titans still have a lot of cap space to improve over an already play-off caliber team.

    Once Mr. Rivers crosses that line and steps up with the big boys under center...San Diego will get the same respect.
