    who would we be interested in? Titans and the Bills have been mainly interested. Who will they give up? Anyone on their teams worth trading for?

    If it's the Bills I'd gladly take Donte Whitner or Lee Evans in lieu of a draft pick, but that's not happening.

    I'm not sure there's a player on the Titans I'd want.

    Draft picks please.

    So say we get a 1st and a 3rd. What do we do at 19th? Do we grab a WR? Or a S? or try to move up?

    If we have the 19 and 30 picks we grab...
    1. Robert Meachem
    2. Dwayne Jarrett
    3. Reggie Nelson
    4. Brandon Siler
    5. Darrell Revis
    In that order of priority.

    If we trade up to say.....7 through 10
    We aim for...
    1. Laron Landry
    2. Alan Branch
    3. Patrick Willis
    4. Amobi Okoye
    5. or hell, trade up and get Calvin Johnson. LOL

    Yes

    Doubt we get a first AND a 3rd . At least not all in this draft.

    Id take their 3rd in 2008 tho. Anything more than their first imo is almost stealing

    I would like us to get Landry. I think he would make an impact on this team. If we do get the 19th, it might be a LB, and then take a WR at 30th.

    Yeah Jarrett is questionable. But Siler is a good LB, if and when Godfrey retires he will fill in nicely.
    As far as the linemen, if we were that high up we'd never draft one. I was just filling in names I like. Its all about Landry buddy.

    Not only is Jarrett quesitonable, he's a slower version of two guys we already have on our team in VJ and Floyd. The guy ran a 4.65 on his proday.

    We need a true #1 WR. We haven't had one in years.

    We'll he's got better body awareness then Jackson and he's still better at getting seperation than Floyd. And Jerry Rice ran 4.6 somthing in the combine too, I dont need to remind you about his carrer.
    I think Jarrett will be a decent WR, just not a great one.

    Agreed its more than just speed, if it was then teams would just look for the fastest guys.

    They need ability to jump, sepperation, ball awareness, and good hands.

    Our recievers have the height. They lack ball awareness and the ability to cause much sepperation.

    Jackson will have a much better career than Jarrett. Bank on it.

    A true no#1 would not fit with this team. Its almost a guarentee that he would complain about not getting the ball. We just need a speedy receiver to compliment our LT. We have big WR's with mediocure speed. Calvin Johnson would be wasted on our squad until LT retires. Look at all the great passing teams compared to the great running teams. The bears with WP didnt exactly have that true exciting no#1 receiver and you can say that about the 49ers with JM and JR. RC was decent but he wasnt nearly as good as LT. Bobby Meachem or similiar would fit nice.

    I dont think Siler is a first rounder and even at that...id rather have David Harris than Siler.

    Id love to land Landry but cant see AJ giving up a lot to move up that far but we'll see what happens with Turner.

    Say the Titans gave us the #19 pick straight up for Turner.

    Our 19, 30 and 3rd round (94) points from the draft value chart ......

    19 = 875
    30 = 620
    94 = 124
    ......____

    ...... 1619 points

    Our 2008 #1 - if we were drafting #32 - would be worth 590 points

    1619 + 590 = 2209 points

    The 3rd pick in the first round has a value of 2200 points. If the Raiders took Jamarcus Russell, and Detroit took Quinn/Thomas/Peterson/whoever besides a WR, would the Chargers think about trading up for Calvin Johnson?

    Three 1's and a three for one player, yet SD would still have their own #2 and a Compensatory #3 in the 2007 draft.

    ...... at this moment, leisure just flooded his Depends ......

    With how stocked this team is, I would. But I'm not AJ.

    If we get the Bills 12th pick, hopefully we can get LaRon Landry. I have my eyes set on him for a 12th. Or if we get the 19th from the Titans, we can get Reggie Nelson or Brandon Meriweather.

    We need a safety. Throughout all seasons, Chargers have had a trouble in their pass defense esp their super bowl season and when Rice split the middle for a TD.

    Everyone wants a WR. The draft is deep with WRs. If we get a 12th or 19th pick, we can get a WR for the 30th or maybe in the 2nd round.
