Nate made me look like a fool today so I'm through.

That's all I have to say at BoltTalk for now.

I'll revisit the forums once I'm over this loss...which probably won't be for at least a week.

    We were wrong, Leo :(.

I am over it, as this team as a bright future...even if some painful improvements must be made.

Don't give up on your team, you guys have a lot of great pieces to be good for a long time. Buffalo is the 2nd. most pathetic franchise in the NFL and I still root for them, and can never adopt anyone else. What I wouldn't give to be a Bolts' fan.

I'll never give up on the Chargers.

I was rooting for them when they had Ryan Leaf behind center and Bobby Beathard in the front office trading away 1st rounders to the lowest bidder.

I'm just saying I am done defending Nate Kaeding.

This doesn't necessarily mean I want him cut post haste. I'm just not going to openly defend him after every negative comment like I have been over the past 5 years.

I agree. Thats why this is so sad. i remember being a kid and watching the leaf days and the chargers being so dreadfully horrible I just wanted them to win the SB so bad this year and all the pieces were in place and nate has blown it so many times!

See. This is my point. an hour and a half ago I would have argued with you after this post.

    Not so much anymore.

The first miss I'm thinking "fine, it's one miss, it happens to the best of them."

    The 2nd miss...whatever, it was a 57 yard attempt.

That third miss when it could have gotten them in striking distance was the killer, though.

Well considering he won't be a Charger next year...

No, Nate let us all down. I don't blame you at all.

Leo my man. I told you the playoffs screwed with his head. I am not trying to make you feel worse. I had a valid argument that only could be validated by a playoff game. Unfortunately I was right.

I'd point out that he is solely responsible for all the scoring in the AFC Championship Game in 2007 but I just don't have it in me.

    This game was atrocious.

I dont think he can ever be effective for us again what with the rowdies in the crowd about to ride his *** all 2010. Time to trade him to Cleveland for Josh Cribbs

Clutch Leo clutch. Kicking is more mental. He does not have it.

What makes these misses any more clutch than the FGs made in 2007?

You're killing me, Doug. I don't want to defend him but your crummy logic is forcing my hand.

The fact that they were kicks that he would have made in the regular season.

He made a HUGE streak of 40-yard FGs or less before his misses today. All three of his kicks were not even close, and the 57-yarder was so far off that Revis almost took it back to the house.

This is seriously the worst case of kicker aptitude disparity since Mike Vanderjagt.

I feel like someone ripped my heart out and kicked it around for a hour.

I had to go over to an old girlfriends house. Drink several coronas and do a little kissing to try and level off.

HOpe everyone is doing okay. Geez. What a downer. OUr hopes got built up and then got dashed. I guess we'll be better for it eventually. I hope so. Cause these moments sure are heart breaking.

Nah, the Colts dealt with Mike for many years. Many, many. Then they cut him and won a SB the following year.

Ok so I've been here about a year but didn't get to adopt a bolt, how does that whole process work?

Tell me what kick he missed in that game? The one that counted. Instead of improving he has gotten worse in the playoffs. If you want to defend him still then go ahead. It may be a little more difficult. For you to make a case this time.

now if that isn't irony what is... vanderjagt is the second most accurate kicker in history and he had playoff shank problems 2!!! Something about making the highest percentage of kicks ever just means u suck at clutch kicks?

I had posts ready to go for posts in this thread but **** it.

I still think my logic applies but this game was atrocious for him nevertheless.

I won't call for his proverbial head (cutting him) but I may as well refrain from defending him.

Despite anything that can be said about the past, he is a major contributor to the loss today.
