Here is the very reason this team missed Nick Hardwick:

"Nick Hardwick walked through a doorway facing Norv Turner on Monday afternoon as the Chargers head coach was addressing the media.

Hardwick looked at Turner, and without a second's hesitation, lifted his T-shirt to flash his coach.

And there it was. That is why the Chargers are better off with Hardwick back playing center.

There is, of course, the way he recognizes defenses and acts as a second quarterback making calls at the line. There is the way he plays, like a man fighting a wild beast with his bare hands. There is his sort of vicious way of finishing plays.

But any conversation of what Hardwick brings to the Chargers comes back to his eternal optimism, inappropriate comments, constant smile that says he thinks life is funny as heck . . . and a fair amount of nakedness."

Time to kick some butt for the rest of the season!!!

Hope he and castillo start wearing high topped shoes to protect their ankles. They're always having trouble with thier ankles.

Dancing naked and flashing people is part of Hardwick's power. He keeps the team loose. If he keeps it in his pants, that all could change. I:icon_shrug:

Wonder if Norv's stone, storm weathered face changed when that happened?

Not right away. It takes too much time for him to react to what's going on in front of him.

It just seems that way. His muscles are reacting right away as they should, but in order for it to show through that skin, there is usually a delay of a few minutes. Kinda like how it takes a ripple time to reach the shore.

Kind of like the time it used to take Ripple to reach my brain.
