I thought there was no way our current unis could suck worse, but Nike showed me that I was WRONG! The huge white collars are retardulous. It looks like everyone is wearing a white polo shirt under their uniform and the collar is sticking out.

    Ugh.

Other than the new stupid collar I like the Charger unis.

What NFL uniforms do you like of not the Chargers?

I don't really care too much about any others. I just don't think the current unis look better than the ones they replaced, I think they were changed just for the sake of change and to extract money from people. And now with the new collars, they look even worse. But A.G. Spanos isn't asking me, so I'll continue to live with them. The only new gear I buy is anything that has just the bolt, because they didn't manage to screw that up.

Yeah I kinda figured you'd say as much.:D And I'd bet if the NFL let you design all 32 NFL uniforms they'd end up single solid plain jane, with circa 1950's leather helments.

I guess you are in the "new = better" school. New always equals novelty, does not always equal better. I don't have any issue at all with change, if the change is an improvement, and not just change for the sake of change. I just don't think the new unis were an improvement in any way. My views are well known, I won't go through why I dislike them again. My original point is the big collars make them look even worse, and that goes for every team that has the contrasting large collars.

I have zero emotional investment with any other team, so I could give two sh*ts what they do with their unis. I think the Seahawks uniforms are clown shoes, but hey whatever makes them happy.

The new unis were announced quite awhile ago, and there was a preseason game prior to this last one. I figured you would've seen the "collars" long before now.

Not really, I just think if you can't find a single NFL uniform you like then maybe you need to consider that it could be more of a YOU problem, than a problem with the NFL's marketing department.

I agree in the Seahawks though, those are terrible.

I'm probably going to buy a new Rivers jersey, just because the one I have is from 2006 and is the old style.

Not a fan of the thick collars - heard some folks comment on how they looked like neck rolls hehe

All things considered though, I think our unis are pretty sweet. I do wish our ALT unis were the true powder blue throw backs vs. the lighter blue modern look but, cest la vie. It's not a fashion show and we're not stuck with something like the Browns or Seahawks so it doesn't ruffle any feathers for me.

Hey, if it's any comfort, I'M still cheesed-off about the 1974 loss of the powder blues, and white helmet.

Okay, the helmet mod is a step in the right direction, but BRING BACK THE BEST JERSEYS IN PRO SPORTS!!

They should just lose the white on the collar and they'd look fine.

Lance19 is right though, there is only 1 TRUE solution to the problem.

I didn't say I didn't like all 32 team uniforms, I said I don't like the only one I care about, and I am ambivalent about the other 31.

It is all about the merchandising and money. There are those who pay top dollar every year for the most popular jerseys. I have no problem at all paying for a knockoff jersey that looks like the real thing because I am not trying to keep up with the Joneses any more. I will now stay with my Dan Fouts air Coryell Blue Jersey as it seemed like every time I tried to have the latest and greatest jersey, the next year that player was gone. So I will stay with the best, you can’t go wrong.

Changing the unis has saved me a lot of money, because I will never, ever buy the current sh*t. Actual sh*t, bootleg sh*t, none of it.

They chose not to upgrade to the Pro Combat uniform that Nike designed for all the teams and instead stuck with the Reebok design, however Nike does make them as they are the official uniformer of the league. The Eagles also chose to keep the Reebok design. All other teams switched to the pro combat.
