Come on, hurt and questionable again after a full week off with the bye.

This guy seems to be made of the same glass as Castillo and Olshansky.

We need guys that suit up even if dinged up.

I think you can't call him a bust after 6 games.

Sorry, but I don't think you can call him a bust after this short period of time. Maybe his conditioning might not be where it needs to be for the NFL yet, maybe he's just had a bad run of injuries. Give him a chance - very few rookies are instant successes.

Agreed. I don't think Buster is a bust at all. No, he hasn't broke out yet. I think he will eventually. But if he doesn't break out this season or next, the bust word might start to be relevant. Right now, however, it is just way to early to call Buster a bust.

Buster has been a bust so far and it is not too early to say it. What the hell are you guys watching to not make this claim? You need more? Maybe down the road he shakes the label but so far, ****, what has he done? The biitch is a first round pick and he should contribute from day one.

The first-round receivers who make a big impact immediately are in the minority. He'll come around. It isn't like any part of the offense so far has been overwhelming, except perhaps LT in the last couple of games.

Exactly. Patience is not a virtue that some of this family seem to possess.

Are you f-in kidding me!? Few late 1st round WR picks make impacts their rookie years. Especially early on in the season. However, I would be lying if I said I wasn't dissapointed that he is hurt again. I felt that he started playing some better ball over the past couple of games and was expecting a big game from him. Especially with Chambers coming in, there would be some very favorable match ups for him.

He could've had the worst 6 weeks a wide receiver has ever had in the history of the NFL....6 weeks is still too early to label somebody a bust.

Moving Buster to the slot could be a very good thing for him. Teams will have to roll the coverage over to Chambers which will make Jackson, Floyd, and Davis all that more productive.

Trump, seriously, STFU. It's way too early to call the guy a bust. It's been six freaking games. Plenty of great WRs did nothing in their first seasons in the league. As far as the ***** contributing from day one, most first round WRs take time to develop. It's unrealistic to expect anything less from Buster. Christ, Calvin Johnson, who was supposed to be the second coming, only has 13 catches through six games.

    This thread is retarded.

Patience smatience. Get your *** on the field and make some plays. He had a great opportunity to make a difference on a good team with crappy receivers. That doesn't come along very often.

Teeth, ankles, jeesh, come on lets get some real injuries if you are going to sit out once in a lifetime chance to take control.

Let him sit the rest of the year for all I care now. Chambers will take over from here Buster, go take care of that hangnail.

Maybe you should stick to analyzing winter Olympic sports.

There are several players who deserve this label more than Davis. As someone noted earlier, how about Jammer?

Give the kid some time. As far as injuries - let's see you get on the field, tough guy. :icon_tease:

He would be on the field today and an all pro at that. If his pee-wee coach didn't hate him and ruin his career. :bolt::icon_rofl::icon_toast:

Damn! Same thing happened to me - total conspiracy that derailed my burgeoning football career!

Maybe this explains why the NFL wants to move into a global arena - furthering the education of uninformed fans. :icon_tease:

Jammer suits up every game and plays. Maybe not the most talent but he plays hard and shows up on Sundays.

Also, its not his fault he has produced

Hes been open A LOT this season, but rivers has severe tunnel vision this year and hasnt past Gates all season

Buster could of easily put up Bowe number if Rivers actually tried to get him the ball, too bad he hasnt

Now there is some logic for you. :icon_huh:

Anyways the question was posed, is he a bust yet?

Answers by the ruling majority are in: no, lets wait and give him more time

Ok, I can live with that. So lets wait.
