I guarantee they move him to safety, well he can join Phillips and Vasquez in the "Go #$%^ yourself group"

I have nothing against Jammer. The other two, on the other hand..... ;)

This is great news, now we just have to tell whoever is covered by Jammer to run deep...and boom, instant 40 yard play either by catch or PI. Jammer is a great guy, but he has gotten slooooow over the last few years, and I won't feel bad seeing us pick on him this year.

Well 2 guys are now on the defensive side of the ball for the Broncos, I'm sure that'll help Manning even more now.

Yeah loyal servant and all that. Find it odd that the late PR campaign to get him signed as a Bolt by Acee ends up with him becoming a Bronco. I guess Mike McCoy knew his weaknesses since he's been scheming against him recently...For me Jammer underachieved as a Charger. But I wish him the best, he seems like a good guy.

It's never fun, for me, to see a guy who's worn the bolts for a decade, line up against us.

A day will come when Rivers lines up against the Bolts.
    I really hope I'm wrong.

That will happen under one of two circumstances

    1. He has another ****** season this year and they let him walk

    2. He's in his late 30s and is trying to hold on to his career and signs with some desperate team.

If it's 1 I'd be a bit concerned, but after 3 years I'd start wondering if I was wrong about him still having it after all (this holds true even if he has another sub par year and stays with us)

If it's 2....it'd only sting a bit in much the same way LT playing against us the first time did; the sentimentality of it would sting a bit but I wouldn't be fearful of him burning us too much.

    Broncos move Jammer to safety

After the Broncos flirted with safety Charles Woodson, safety Mike Adams wondered what the team may do next.

Well, the Broncos decided to acquire cornerbackQuentin Jammer — and move him to safety.

A tweet from Lindsay Jones of USA Today that was retweeted by Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego but then deleted by Jones as an apparent violation of Denver’s in-practice reporting policies indicates that Jammer was working with the safeties in individual drills.

It’s not as if the tweet gave away any secrets. Mike Klis of the Denver Postpreviously reported that Jammer, who never has played safety in 11 NFL seasons, will move to safety in Denver.

Well that will make the games against Denver a little more interesting.

Hate losing a great player. Hate it even more when he ends up still inside the AFCW.

Just another player cast off after the Bolts figured he's of no further use tho them. I'm glad Jammer took the highroad out of town unlike some of the other former Bolt players.

Yeah, we wouldn't want fans holding a grudge over Jammer about a few comments made years ago, unlike some other former bolt players we still whine about.

I'm just having a hard time remembering many former Bolt players being ceremoniously (Retired) other than Seau and we all know how that turned out.

As I recall, Tomlinson left town screaming, kicking and wailing. I'd find it hard to believe Tomlinson holds the Bolts dear to his heart after the way he was treated and I don't blame him.

I'm pretty sure he still did the 1 day contract/"Retire as a Charger" thing despite all of that.

When Junior died, the proverbial hatchet was buried. At least, whatever divide there was between he and Dean was squashed. I don't know that AJ and LT will ever be pals but Jr's death gave the guys some perspective that's for sure.

The hatchet may have been buried in the fallout of Juniors suicide, but the bell can never be unrung from the past. If Jammer is the prototype of the new and improved Bolts player relations then I'd say they still have a long ways to go.

What exactly does Jammer's case say about Bolts player relations?

The only thing I see that happened here is that the Chargers decided they could spend their cap room better elsewhere than on Jammer at this juncture of his career so he signed with someone else willing to pay him.

I'm not sure if you were intending to relate it to the Tomlinson case where both sides had a falling out and publicly bitched and moaned about it, but I'm not really seeing that here.

I'm not going to waste my time explaining it to you. Go back through Bolt history and check out draft to retirement treatment of players. Not many, if any, have left into retirement from draft into retirement a Bolt and on good terms. Please correct me if I'm wrong with those stars names?

And how is that different from other teams who have players do the same thing?
The scenario is the same everywhere: Team drafts player. Player is with team for extended period of time. Contract ends for player. Player signs with another team. Player takes a departing shot at old team. Lather, rinse, repeat.
