I have never been as down on Harrington as others have been...I dont know that Grossman would have done any better with the Lions or Harrington would have done any worse with the Bears. I think that he could do well with a good team. Volek has shown the ability to do just that this season, as well.

That said, I like Bobby Petrino and I am intrigued by what he is doing with this offense, with the roster that he still has, at such short notice. Petrino is a home boy in that he coached here where I live in Montana (for the Carroll College Saints ;) )
Gotta root for him despite his team. :flag:

Roddy White just dropped two straight passes....one of which would have been a TD.

    Harrington is doing pretty well.

According to the JHC (Jammer Haters Club), QJ was seen in the vicinity of the Bengals' locker room.....

That long pass from Palmer to Johnson looked like an instant replay of the "blown" play that lead to Jammer/Hart discussion.

I was thinking Harrington looked pretty good as well. Gave areal good team guy type interview too.

Harrington is looking pretty good. I guess he just needed a good team to show what he can do.

IMHO, he still does...Cincy's DB really suck :icon_eek:

Still, he had a good showing vs a bad D.

Holy crap....I thought the same thing when I saw it. As well as Joey performed in that game, the Bungals secondary is really bad. Although, he did throw some beautiful looking passes (White should be cut for that dropped TD pass). All through training camp you kept hearing how well that offense fits Joey, and it really looks like he's settled in quite nicely. He's playing with a lot of emotion, or at least like a guy who just won the lottery (with Vick going out and him becoming the #1).
With my FF draft coming up this weekend, I am starting to consider him as a decent backup if I get desparate, although the guy has been very inconsistent in years past.

Joey looked good, but this is the PRE season. Lets see how he does when the blitzes start coming and he sees more than a vanilla D.

I hope he does well. Not a bad guy, just not the QB he was hyped up to be when he came out of Oregon.

He might need 5 years and the right offensive wizard to get the most out of him, like another Oregon duck did. :icon_eek:

Maybe Petrino will be the "Coryell" for him.

Speaking of Coryell, still irks me that he has not gotten the nod for the Hall of Fame and Walsh getting the credit for a system that was started by Gilman and then refined by Coryell.
