Sorry if this was posted elsewhere but I rarely have time to fully read the forum. Does anyone know what was up with Lynch tossing LT's helmet after his tackle? Not only did it seem out of character, it appeared totally unprovoked.

Seems like he was fired up, and caught up in the moment, maybe frustrated the Donkeys suck...

He apologized to LT, whom accepted... end of story, and contraversy....

He seems like an ok dude...

It's amazing how much more coverage there was of Rivers yakking at Cutler than Lynch tossing LT's helmet.

Out of character and very unlike him. I think he was more shocked and embarrassed than anyone after it happened.

    I'll give him a mulligan.

Gotta agree. Lynch seems to be a tough, stand-up competitor. When you're a warrior, you make some testosterone-inspired mistakes.

I like you're take here, ntman68. He gets a mulligan from me, too.

Other Donkos - not so much.

When the heat of the moment reaches it's peak, the roid rages simply can't be stopped.

J/K! If lynch hadn't been turned down when he sought to be signed by our team, I would've been thrilled.

He's a member of the loud-mouthed, cheap-shot, chop-blocking donkies right? And now he's biitching to the press. **** him!

"That big, mean quarterback was saying mean things to my incompetent teammates, waa, waaaa!"

He squealling like a rat caught on a sinking ship, and I couldn't be happier.

yeah, you get caught up in the moment in all sports. i remember i spiked the ball once after a 20 yard INT return, but its high school so they tacked me for unsportsmanlike conduct. all i got was 5 yards for my offense :( and in basketball i like to run my mouth if i shoot someones eyes out. :-\ caught up in the moment

I just didn't see what moment he got caught up in, he just made a tackle. I guess we don't see or hear everything that happens on the field so I'll withhold judgment. I think Lynch is a great player and a good guy so it just shocked me.

the way i saw it, he made a pretty good hit. idk if he took the helmet off lts head with his hands, but i thought he hit him and his helmet came off. if thats the case, then thatd be "caught up in the moment" if not, then idk wth he was doing :icon_shrug:
